Pattes de chat

Ingrédients:

250g de beurre mou

3 jaunes d'oeuf

150 g de sucre glace

1 cuillère à café de levure chimique

70 g de maïzena

400 g de farine

1 cuillère à café d'extrait de vanille ou autre arôme de votre choix

de la confiture de votre choix + 1 tablette de chocolat noir

Préparation:

Bien malaxer ensemble le beurre et le sucre glace. Ajouter les jaunes d'oeufs et bien incorporer.

Dans un autre bol, mélanger la fécule de mais et la levure chimique avec la moitié de la farine.

Incorporer ce mélange au mélange de beurre/oeufs/sucre glace. Ajouter peu à peu un peu de la farine restante jusqu'à obtention d'une pâte malléable qui vous permette de rouler des petites billes entre les paumes des mains. (peut-être que vous n'aurez pas besoin de l'ensemble des 400 g).

Ajouter et incorporer l'extrait de votre choix.

Former de petites billes de pâte, à peine la taille d'une noisette. Puis les allonger en forme de ''balles de revolver''. À l'aide d'une fourchette, appuyer sur les 2 tiers de chaque ''balle'' pour laisser l'empreinte des tiges de la fourchette. Ceci va aussi élargir un peu et aplatir l'extrémité.

Faites cuire au four préchauffé à 170º C. quelques minutes. Ne pas laisser brunir les pattes de chat. En sortir une et la briser en deux, si la pâte n'est plus crue à l'intérieur, c'est bon, elle est cuite.

Une fois toutes les pattes de chat cuites, passer la confiture dans un tamis fin pour ôter les morceaux de fruits éventuels et bien la remuer à la cuillère pour la liquéfier.

Enduire les pattes de chat de confiture et les coller dos à dos puis tremper l'extrémité dans le chocolat fondu au micro-ondes ou au bain marie.

Laisser sécher un peu sur une grille avant de ranger dans une boîte de métal.
