إنه من المقلق جدا (بالنسبة لي على الأقل) أن نكتشف من خلال وثائق صاحبنا جوليان أسانج أن المسألة الإيرانية تثير مخاوف وقلق ورعب واهتمام لدى الدول العربية وخاصة دول الخليج أكثر مما تثيره القضية الفلسطينية، وبطبيعة الحال هذا ما نستشفه من خلال الوثائق المنشورة لحد الآن فقط ولعل الآتي سيكون أعظم، ولكن العينة التي بين أيدينا والتي استطعنا الاطلاع عليها توضح أن القضية الفلسطينية (القضية المركزية والتي لا مفر من التعامل معها والتعاطي معها بجدية، وقضية الجيل الحالي والجيل اللاحق والتي من خلالها ستحاكمون هاته الأجيال كما يتم محاكمة الأجيال السابقة عما قدموه للجزائر وعما فعلوه أثناء الثورة التحريرية) ليست القضية الجوهرية والقضية الرئيسية كما أنها ليست الهم الأكبر لاهتمامات قادة البلدان العربية عامة وتلك الدول التي اصطلح على تسميتها دول الاعتدال العربي.
كما توضح وثائق موقع ويكيليكس بجلاء ووضوح شديدين أن رؤساء الدول العربية وعلى رأسهم جميعا ملوك وأمراء دول الخليج ينصاعون للأوامر الأمريكية وينفذون تعليمات البيت الأبيض بطريقة تثير دهشة المسئولين الأمريكيين أنفسهم وبقة متناهية بينما لا يعيرون أي اهتمام للرأي العام الوطني داخل هذه الدول، ورأي شعوب هذه الدول غير مسموع ولا يدخل في حساباتهم البتة، ومن يتجرا ويرفع صوته (وفي غالب الأحيان يكون صوتا منفردا فيظهر وكأنه يغرد خارج السرب) يتم إسكاته بسرعة مذهلة وبكل الوسائل، وهذا ما حدث بالضبط لموقع اليومية اللبنانية الأخبار (والتي قامت بنشر وثائق ويكيليكس من مصدرها الأصلي دون تحريف ولا تحوير وهي بذلك اليومية والصحيفة العربية الوحيدة التي تفعل ذلك) التي تعرضت لعملية قرصنة من طرف هاكرز يظهر أنه سعودي من خلال الشعار الذي وضعه مكان الصفحة الرئيسية للصحيفة في اليوم نفسه الذي نشرت فيه وثائق تناولت السعودية.
وموقع الأخبار اللبنانية الذي تم قرصنته منذ صبيحة يوم الخميس 9 ديسمبر 2010 ما زال لحد الساعة غير متوفر للخدمة مما اضطر القائمين على الموقع لتحويل الزوار على موقع احتياطي في انتظار استرداد الموقع الأصلي.
