ذكرت تقارير إسرائيلية أن عدد العمال المصريين يمثل ١٣% من نسبة العمالة المدنية بالجيش الإسرائيلى يليهم الأردنيون،بينما أكد اللواء أبوبكر الجندى، رئيس الجهاز المركزى للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء، أن المصريين الموجودين فى إسرائيل «عمال غير شرعيين» سافروا بطرق غير شرعية عبر الدول المجاورة «ويصعب حصرهم» بشكل دقيق.

واتفق مسؤولو وزارة القوى العاملة والهجرة واتحاد العمال، مع الجندى، مؤكدين أن العمال المصريين فى إسرائيل غادروا إليها منذ سنوات وعددهم غير معلوم، إلا أنه يمكن أن يتراوح بين ٢٠ و٢٥ ألف شخص.

وقال الجندى فى تصريحات لوكالة الأنباء الألمانية «د.ب.أ»، إن معدلات البطالة فى مصر انخفضت إلى ٨.٩٦% خلال الربع الثانى من ٢٠١٠، مقابل ٩.٤٢% خلال نفس الفترة من العام الماضى، مرجعا السبب فى انخفاض معدلات البطالة إلى «المجهودات التى اتخذتها الحكومة فى مواجهة الأزمة المالية العالمية».

وأكد أن جهاز الإحصاء هو الجهة الوحيدة فى مصر القادرة على إجراء أبحاث ميدانية بهذا الشأن، خاصة أنه يمتلك الإمكانيات التى تساعده فى ذلك.

فى المقابل، شكك إبراهيم الأزهرى، الأمين العام لاتحاد عمال مصر، فى إحصائيات رئيس الجهاز المركزى للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء حول البطالة، ووصفها بـ«غير الدقيقة»، مشيراً إلى أن معدل البطالة لا يقل بأى حال عن ١٦% من حجم القوى العاملة، وبما لا يقل عن ٣ ملايين شاب أغلبهم من حملة المؤهلات العليا.

وقال الأزهرى: «لابد أن نلتمس العذر للعمال المصريين الذين سافروا إلى إسرائيل وتزوجوا وأقاموا بها»، منوهاً بأن منظومة التشغيل فى مصر أصبحت «طاردة».

وتساءل الأزهرى فى تصريح لـ«المصرى اليوم» عن الأسباب «التى تدفع الشباب للهجرة غير الشرعية عن طريق مراكب الموت»، وإلقاء أنفسهم فى البحر والانتحار إذا كانت الأوضاع تتحسن.
