سرطان عنق الرحم في الجزائر

كشفت دراسة طبية حديثة أن الجزائر تندرج ضمن البلدان التي تشهد انتشارا متوسطا لسرطان عنق الرحم، مع أن هذا الأخير يأتي في المرتبة الثانية في أنواع السرطانات التي تصيب الجزائريات بعد سرطان الثدي بحوالي 3 آلاف إصابة جديدة سنويا .

وحسب هذه الدراسة التي شملت عينة مكونة من 1200 امرأة تتراوح أعمارهن بين 15 و65 سنة ولا يعانين من أي مشكل صحي، وبعد إخضاعهن لتحاليل تخص عنق الرحم وإرسالها إلى المخبر الدولي المرجعي لأمستردام بهولندا، فقد تبيّن أن 41 امرأة منهن تحمل عدوى فيروس الورم الحليمي من صنف 16 و18 و31 الذي يمكن أن يتطورفي غضون ست سنوات إلى أورام خبيثة وبالتالي إلى سرطان في عنق الرحم .
واستنادا إلى هذه المعطيات، خلص القائمون على الدراسة التي أنجزها المعهد الوطني للصحة العمومية ونشرت مؤخرا في المجلة الدولية حول السرطان، إلى أن انتشار هذا النوع من السرطان في الجزائر هو بمعدل متوسط على غرار بلدان الضفة الجنوبية للبحر المتوسط والهند وباكستان وكندا.وعن البلدان التي صُنفت كمناطق ذات انتشار واسع للمرض، تم ذكر كل من البلدان الصحراوية وبلدان أمريكا اللاتينية، في حين اعتُبر انتشار سرطان عنق الرحم الأقل انتشارا في البلدان الاسكندنافية .
وإن جاءت نتائج هذه الدراسة لتضع الجزائر في مصاف الدول غير المتضررة من انتشار سرطان عنق الرحم، فإن الأرقام الخاصة بهذا السرطان تعكس واقعا آخر مخيفا يستدعي ناقوس الخطر، لاسيما بالنسبة إلى ظاهرة التأخر في اكتشافه، حيث تشير آخر الإحصاءات المتداولة إلى أن حوالي 80 إلى 90 بالمائة من النساء المصابات يكتشفن المرض في مرحلة متأخرة بسبب تأخر أو إهمال في المتابعة الطبية لدى أخصائيي النساء، وهو ما أدى إلى تسجيل ما معدله 4 وفيات يوميا .
كما يعدّ التكفل الطبي بهذا السرطان مكلفا في الجزائر، حيث تكلف الحالة الواحدة الدولة 2 . 5 مليون دينار، منها 280 ألف دينار تخص العلاج الكيميائي .
