إن التكسب وطلب الرزق الحلال هو وظيفة المؤمن وله في ذلك وسائل متنوعة يحدوه في ذلك إرضاء الله تعالى وأمله الاستغناء عن الناس والتوكل على الله شعاره، والإسلام لا يبيح العجز والكسل بل هو دعوة للعمل.

كما أن المال واقتناءه يحفظ الإنسان عن إراقة ماء وجهه فيما لا يحل، أو التعرض للسؤال، أو الضعف، أو الحاجة إلى من بيدهم المال، وبخاصة في وقت يتنافس العالم فيه، ولا مكان للضعيف أو الكسول.

ففي حديث للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أخبرنا أبو داود قال حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا أبي عن صالح عن ابن شهاب أن أبا عبيد مولى عبد الرحمن بن أزهر أخبره أنه سمع أبا هريرة يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (لأن يحتزم أحدكم حزمة حطب على ظهره فيبيعها خير من أن يسأل رجلا فيعطيه أو يمنعه).

جاء في بعض الأحاديث الأخرى أن خير ما أكل المرؤ ما كان من عمل يده.
منذ مدّة قرأت الكتاب الأخضر الذي يعدّ بمثابة الدّستور اللّيبي ، و رغم ما فيه من المفاهيم المثيرة للجدل إلاّ أننا أعجبت ببعض الأفكار الرّاقية و منها ما يتعلّق بموضوعك هذا أخي نجيب، حيث الشّغل في ليبيا يعتبربمثابة العبوديّة ، فاللّيبي لا ينبغي له أن يعمل عند ليبيّ آخر كأجير له لأنّ هذا يجعل منه عبدا لديه
و إن كان هذا البند صادرا من منطلقات المذهب الإشتراكي، إلا أنّ فيه الكثير من التّعبير عمّا يحدث فعلا في الواقع
الكثير من أرباب المهن و الشّركات يعاملون موظّفيهم كما لو كانوا عبيدا،
و لعلّنا نرجع إلى هذا الموضوع بالتّفصيل
