ويكيليكس: اسرائيل استهدفت مفاعلا نوويا سوريا قبل ان يصبح قابلا للتشغيل


كشفت مذكرة دبلوماسية امريكية نشرتها صحيفة يديعوت احرونوت الاسرائيلية الجمعة ان الغارة الجوية الاسرائيلية التي وقعت في السادس من سبتمبر 2007 دمرت مفاعلا نوويا سوريا قبل اسابيع من ان يصبح قابلا للتشغيل.
وكتبت وزيرة الخارجية الامريكية حينذاك كوندوليزا رايس في المذكرة التي كشفها موقع ويكيليكس "في السادس من سبتمبر 2007 دمرت اسرائيل مفاعلا نوويا بني سرا في سوريا بمساعدة كوريا الشمالية على ما يبدو".
واضافت في مذكرتها الموجهة الى الممثلين الدبلوماسيين الامريكيين في الخارج ان "خبراءنا في الاستخبارات مقتنعون بان الهجوم استهدف فعلا مفاعلا من نوع المفاعل نفسه الذي بنته كوريا الشمالية في يونغبيون".
وتابعت "لدينا كل الاسباب التي تدفعنا الى الاعتقاد ان المفاعل لم يتم بناؤه لاغراض سلمية"، معتبرة انه لا يمكن ان يستخدم لتوليد الكهرباء واكدت رايس "عندما شنت اسرائيل الهجوم، لم يكن قد تبقى سوى اسابيع ليصبح المفاعل عمليا.
واشارت رايس الى السرية التي احاطت ببناء المفاعل ورفض السلطات السورية دعوة مفتشي الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية او وسائل اعلام الى الموقع بعد تدميره ونفت سوريا ان يكون المكان المستهدف موقعا نوويا لكنها قالت انه "موقع سري يجري بناؤه" ولم تنف اسرائيل مهاجمة الهدف في سوريا لكنها لم تؤكد الهجوم رسميا.
وفي مذكراته يروي الرئيس الامريكي السابق جورج بوش كيف قاوم الضغوط الاسرائيلية لقصف الموقع.
