خلال تدخله صباح هذا الفاتح جانفي في حصة هجوم معاكس ، أكد الدكتور شيباني حميد الامين
العام للاتحاد
اليمني لكرة القدم أن الهيئة التي يعمل بها وصلت مبلغاً هاما من المفاوضات مع الناخب الوطني الاسبق رابح سعدان
لتوليه المنتخب اليمني لكرة القدم بل تم الاتفاق على جميع البنود المتعلقة اساسا بالعقد الي يربط سعدان بالتحاد اليمني
مدة 36 شهراً.
وقال المتحدث في هذا الخصوص:" نحن في المرحلة النهائية ان شاء الله، و سيتم التوقيع على العقد بين رئيس الاتحاد
اليمني و سعدان" بعد أن اتفق الطرفان على جميع شروط المدرب الجزائري بما فيها المساعد زهير جلول الذي اشترطه
سعدان لفتح اي مجال للتفاوض معنا –يقول المتحدث- مضيفا أن الستحقاقات التي تنتظر المنتخب اليمني تتطلب مدربا
من طراز رابح سعدان.

ورفض الدكتور شيباني الافصاح عن قيمة العقد الذي اشترطه سعدان لان بنود العقد تمنع بالمناسبة نشر التفاصيل المالية
المحددة للعقد الذي يربط سعدان بالتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم.واكتفى بالقول "و الله فيه مشكلة في العقد لان هذا البند سري
ولا يجوز أن اعلن عنه"

و أكد شيباني في سياق متصل الاخبار التي تداولتها الصحف و المتعلقة بشرط يكون سعدان قد أحاط به الاتحاد اليمني
قبل التوقيع على العقد وهو ضرورة اصطحابه مساعده زهير جلول الى اليمن، وكشف ان الاتحاد لم يمانع ذلك بحكم أن
ذلك لا يتعارض مع هدف المنتخب وأنهى قوله ان الطرفان اتفقا على مدرب حراس يمني يساعد سعدان الى جانب
زهير جلول.

وفي ختام حديثه أكد الدكتور شيباني الامين العام للاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم والذي تولى ادارة المفاوضات مع رابح سعدان
أن العقد الذي سيمضيه قربا رابح سعدان مدته 36 شهرا أي 3 سنوات بدءاً بالفاتح جانفي الحالي والى غاية
مطلع 2014 مبررا المدة بالستحقاق الذي تنوي الالتحادية اليمنية رفعه وهو التأهل الى مونديال 2014 بالبرازيل.


رابح سعدان
كان رابح سعدان في بداياته مساعداً للمدرب الوطني في الجزائرتحت 20 سنة المتأهل إلى كأس العالم للشباب
سنة 1979 في اليابان،ثم عمل كمساعد المدرب الوطني المتأهل إلى كأس العالم سنة 1982 في إسبانيا.
وفي عام 2004 وصل رفقة الجزائر إلى الدور ربع النهائي في كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي أقيمت آنذاك في تونس
، وبعدهاانتقل لتدريب منتخب اليمن مدة سنة ثم عاد للجزائر وقام بتدريب نادي وفاق سطيف وحقق معه كأس العرب.
كما تحصل سعدان مع فريق الرجاء البيضاوي المغربي على دوري أبطال أفريقيا لكرة القدم عام 1989 عندما
هزم في النهائي نادي مولودية وهران بركلات الترجيح.وتحصل سعدان أيضا على كأس دوري أبطال العرب مع
وفاق سطيف سنة 2007.وفي عام 2008 عاد رابح سعدان إلى تدريب الخضر، حيث نجح في ايصال
منتخب بلاده إلى المرتبة الأولى ضمن المجموعة الخامسة حيث تصدرت الجزائر المجموعة بـ 13 نقطة وضمن
تأهله لكأس الأمم الأفريقية بأنغولا.في 2009 نجح المدرب المخضرم الشيخ رابح سعدان في إيصال المنتخب
الجزائري لنهائيات كأس العام 2010 التي اقيمت في جنوب أفريقيا بعد غياب دام 24 سنة وبعد مشوار باهر
حيث تصدّر وسيطر المنتخب الجزائري على مجموعته، وتأهل بعد فوزه على نظيره المصري في المباراة الفاصلة
التي جمعت الفريقين في السودان، وفاز خلالها أبناء الشيخ سعدان بالمباراة بهدف نظيف مقابل صفر.
و فاز سعدان بلقب أحسن مدرب عربي لسنة 2009 و هو أحسن مدرب جزائري لكل الأوقات بحكم تأهيله
المنتخب الجزائري 3 مرات لكأس العالم إلى جانب كأس العالم للشباب. عدا عن بقية ألقابه مع المنتخبات أو
الأندية التي دربها.و في 4 سبتمبر2010 استقال رابح سعدان من منصبه كمدرب للمنتخب الوطني الجزائري،
بعد الضغط الذي أفرزه تعثـر الخضر أمام المنتخب التانزاني بملعب مصطفى تشاكر في البليدة.
