أكد أمس الناخب الوطني السابق رابح سعدان في اتصال هاتفي مع "الشروق" مباشرة من مطار صنعاء، أين كان بصدد التأهب للعودة إلى الجزائر، عدم توصله إلى أي اتفاق نهائي مع الاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم بشأن توليه الإشراف على العارضة الفنية للمنتخب اليمني، مشيرا إلى أنه طلب مهلة للتفكير قبل الرد على عرض اليمنيين، كما لم يفوّت الشيخ سعدان الفرصة لنفي كل ما قيل بشأن إمضائه لعقد يمتد لثلاث سنوات، كما تم تداوله في وسائل إعلامية أول أمس، مؤكدا ما ذهبت إليه الشروق في نفس اليوم عندما كشفت عدم توصله لاتفاق نهائي مع مسؤولي الاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم .



وقال سعدان لـ"الشروق": "أنا الآن بصدد مغادرة العاصمة اليمنية... لقد التقيت الشيخ أحمد العيسي رئيس الاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم مرتين، وتفاوضت معه بشأن إمكانية إشرافي على العارضة الفنية للمنتخب اليمني، وقدمت اقتراحاتي وشروطي بخصوص هذه القضية، كما استمعت إلى وجهة نظر رئيس الاتحاد اليمني... صراحة لم أتخذ أي قرار لحد الساعة، وطلبت مهلة قبل الرد على هذا العرض.."، وكان سعدان الذي تنقل إلى اليمن الجمعة الفارط عقد جلستي مفاوضات مع أحمد العيسي، وتباحث معه حول كل حيثيات العقد، خاصة أن الاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم يسعى لتعيين* ‬مدرب* ‬جديد،* ‬في* ‬أقرب* ‬وقت* ‬ممكن،* ‬خلفا* ‬للكرواتي* ‬يوري* ‬ستريشكو* ‬المقال* ‬بعد* ‬المشاركة* ‬المخيّبة* ‬في* ‬كأس* ‬الخليج* ‬التي* ‬احتضنتها* ‬اليمن* ‬الشهر* ‬الفارط*.
إلى ذلك كشف الناخب الوطني السابق لـ"الشروق" أنه قدم "مشروعا كرويا طموحا" لمسؤولي الاتحاد اليمني لكرة القدم، يهدف من خلاله النهوض بكرة القدم اليمنية، وهو ما يعني رغبة سعدان العمل على المدى البعيد وعدم التقيد بأهداف فورية، خاصة بعد أن راجت أخبار عن اشتراط اليمنيين التأهل إلى مونديال البرازيل 2014 على الشيخ "في الحقيقة أرغب العمل وفق مشروع كروي كبير، كما فعلت عندما كنت مدربا لليمن في 2005 .. أنا لا أسعى من أجل تدريب المنتخب فقط، بل أهدف لبناء منتخب قوي...على كل تركت كل مقترحاتي لرئيس الاتحاد اليمني ومن جهتي سأفكر* ‬مليّا* ‬قبل* ‬إعطاء* ‬ردي* ‬النهائي*..‬*"‬* ‬قال* ‬سعدان*.
وبدا مهندس تأهل "الخضر" إلى مونديال جنوب إفريقيا 2010 خلال حديثه مع "الشروق" أمس مترددا في الرد بالإيجاب على عرض اليمنيين، وحمل كلامه تلميحات وإشارات ضمنية لإمكانية رفضه تدريب المنتخب اليمني، خاصة عندما تطرق لقضية ارتباطه بعقد مع إحدى القنوات التلفزيونية لمدة 3 سنوات "حاليا أنا مرتبط بعقد مع قناة تلفزيونية لمدة 3 سنوات..وإن قررت العودة إلى التدريب، فهذا سيكون مع المنتخبات ووفق مشروع طموح.. أما بالنسبة لتدريب الأندية فهذا لا يعنيني الآن، ولن أدرب أي ناد مستقبلا.." صرح مدرب وفاق سطيف السابق.
