احفظ لسانك

مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيد
عن مُعَاذٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، أَخْبِرْني بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُني الجَنَّةَ وَيُبَاعِدُني مِنَ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : (( لَقَدْ سَألتَ عَنْ عَظيمٍ ، وإنَّهُ لَيَسيرٌ عَلَى مَنْ يَسَّرَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ: تَعْبُدُ الله لا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً ، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلاَةَ ، وتُؤتِي الزَّكَاةَ ، وتَصُومُ رَمَضَانَ ، وتَحُجُّ البَيْتَ )) ثُمَّ قَالَ : (( ألاَ أدُلُّكَ عَلَى أبْوابِ الخَيْرِ ؟ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الخَطِيئَةَ كَما يُطْفِئُ المَاءُ النَّارَ ، وَصَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ )) ثُمَّ تَلا : { تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ المَضَاجِعِ } حَتَّى بَلَغَ { يَعْمَلُونَ } [ النور : 16 ] ثُمَّ قَالَ : (( ألا أُخْبِرُكَ بِرَأسِ الأَمْرِ ، وَعَمُودِهِ ، وَذِرْوَةِ سِنَامِهِ )) قُلْتُ : بَلَى يَا رسولَ اللهِ ، قَالَ : (( رَأسُ الأمْر الإسْلامُ ، وَعَمُودُهُ الصَّلاَةُ ، وَذِرْوَةِ سِنَامِهِ الجِهادُ )) ثُمَّ قَالَ : (( ألاَ أُخْبِرُكَ بِمِلاكِ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ ! )) قُلْتُ : بلَى يَا رَسولَ اللهِ ، فَأخَذَ بِلِسانِهِ وقال : (( كُفَّ عَلَيْكَ هَذَا )) قُلْتُ : يَا رسولَ الله وإنَّا لَمُؤاخَذُونَ بما نَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ ؟ فقالَ : (( ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ ! وَهَلْ يَكُبُّ الناسَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلاَّ حَصَائِدُ أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ ؟ )) . رواه الترمذي ، وقال : (( حديث حسن صحيح ))
حُكي عن بعض الحكماء أنه رأى رجلاً يُكثر الكلام ويُقل السكوت ، فقال له : إن الله تعالى إنما خلق لك أذنين ولسانا واحداً ، ليكون ما تسمعه ضعف ما تتكلم به .
قال جبير بن عبد الله : شهدت وهب ابن منبه وجاءه رجل فقال : إن فلاناً يقع منك ، فقال وهب : أما وجد الشيطان أحداً يستخف به غيرك ؟ فما كان بأسرع من أن جاء الرجل ، فرفع مجلسه وأكرمه .
قال عمر بن عبد العزيز : من علم أن كلامه من عَمَلِهِ ، قل كلامه إلا فيما يعنيه .
قال الحسن ابن بشار : منذ ثلاثين سنة ما تكلمت بكلمة أحتاج أن أعتذر منها .
قال عبد الله بن محمد بن زياد : كنت عند أحمد بن حنبل فقال له رجل : يا أبا عبد الله قد اغتبتك ، فاجعلني في حل ، قال :أنت في حل إن لم تعد ، فقلت له : أتجعله في حل يا أبا عبد الله وقد اغتابك ؟ قال : ألم ترني اشترطت عليه .
وجاء ابن سيرين أناسٌ فقالوا : إنا نلنا منك فاجعلنا في حل ، قال : لا أحل لكم شيئاً حرمه الله ... فكأنه أشار إليه بالاستغفار ، والتوبة إلى الله مع استحلاله منه .
روي عن الحسن أن رجلاً قال : إن فلاناً قد اغتابك ، فبعث إليه طبقاً من الرطب ، وقال : بلغني أنك أهديت إليّ حسناتك ، فأردت أك أكافئك عليها ، فاعذرني، فإني لا أقدر أن أكافئك بها على التمام.
وذكر عن أبي أمامة الباهلي رضي الله عنه أنه قال : إن العبد ليُعطى كتابه يوم القيامة فيرى فيه حسنات لم يكن قد عملها ، فيقول يا رب: من أين لي هذا؟
فيقول : هذا بما اغتابك الناس وانت لا تشعر.
