أكـرم رجـل رأيتـه

لما أفضت الخلافة إلى بني العباس استخفى رجال بني أمية، وكان فيمن استخفى منهم إبراهيم بن سليمان ابن عبد الملك، حتى أخذ له داود بن العباس أماناً. وكان إبراهيم رجلاً عالماً حدثاً فخص بأبي العباس السفاح فقال له يوماً: حدثني عما مر بك في اختفائك قال:
كنت يا أمير المؤمنين مختفياً بالحيرة في منزل شارف على الصحراء، فبينا أنا على ظهر بيت إذ نظرت إلى أعلام سود قد خرجت من الكوفة تريد الحيرة، فوقع في روعي أنها تريدني، فخرجت من الدار متنكراً حتى أتيت الكوفة ولا أعرف بها أحداً أختفي عنده، فبقيت متردداً ... فإذا أنا بباب كبير ورحبة واسعة فدخلت فيها ، وإذا رجل وسيم حسن الهيئة على فرس قد دخل الرحبة، ومعه جماعة من غلمانه وأتباعه فقال لي من أنت وما حاجتك؟

قلت: رجل مستخف يخاف على دمه استئجار بمنزلك، فأدخلني منزله، ثم صيرني في حجرة تلي حرمه، فكنت عنده في كل ما أحب من مطعم ومشرب وملبس، ولا يسألني عن شيء من حالي إلا أنه يركب في كل يوم ركبة، فقلت له يوماً: أراك تدمن الركوب ففيم ذلك؟

فقال: إن إبراهيم بن سليمان قتل أبي صبراً، وقد بلغني أنه مستخف، وأنا أطلبه لأدرك منه ثأري، فكثر والله تعجبي من ادبارنا، إذ ساقني القدر إلى حتفي في منزل من يطلب دمي، وكرهت الحياة فسألت الرجل عن اسمه واسم أبيه، فأخبرني فعرفت أن الخبر صحيح، وأنا كنت قتلت أباه صبراً، فقلت: يا هذا قد وجب علي حقك، ومن حقك علي أن أدلك على خصمك، وأقرب عليك الخطوة، قال: وما ذاك؟

قلت أنا إبراهيم بن سليمان قاتل أبيك، فخذ بثأرك، فقال: إني أحسبك رجلاً قد أتعبك الاختفاء فأحببت الموت، قلت: بل الحق ما قلت لك، أنا قتلته يوم كذا وكذا " بسبب كذا وكذا " فلما عرف صدقي اربد وجهه واحمرت عيناه وأطرق ملياً، ثم قال، أما أنت فستلقى أبي فيأخذ بثأره منك، وأما أنا فغير مخفر ذمتي، فأخرج عني، فلست آمن نفسي عليك " بعدها " وأعطاني ألف دينار فلم آخذها، وخرجت من عنده، فهذا أكرم رجل رأيته بعد أمير المؤمنين.. نقلا من كتاب المستجاد من فعالات الأجواد

مما ينسب إلى الشافعي رضي الله عنه، وقيل إنها لسهل الوراق، والله أعلم:
سيفتــح بابٌ إذا سدّ باب ... نعم وتهون الأمور الصعاب
ويتَّسع الحــال من بعد ما ... تضيق المذاهب فيها الرِّحاب
مع الهمّ يسـران هوّن عليك ... فلا الهمّ يجدي ولا الإكتئاب
فكم ضقت ذرعاً بما هبتــه ... فلم ير من ذاك قدرٌ يهاب
وكم بردٍ خفته من سحابٍ ... فعوفيت وانجاب عنك السّحاب
ورزقٌ أتــــاك ولم تأته ... ولا أرّق العين منـه الطِّلاب
ونــاءٍ عن الأهل ذي غربةٍ ... أتيــح له بعد يأسٍ إياب
ونــاجٍ من البحر من بعد ما ... علاه من الموج طامٍ عباب
إذا احتجب النَّـاس عن سائلٍ ... فما دون سائل ربِّي حجاب
