هل أنت عزيزي من أولئك الذين يفعلون كل شيء من اجل إرضاء الآخرين؟
هل تعرف أنه من المستحيل إرضاء كل الناس؟ هل تشاطرني الرأي إذا قلت لك أنني من المؤمنين بمقولة إرضاء الناس غاية لا تدرك؟ ومن أين يأتي هذا الوسواس في حب إرضاء كل الناس؟
هناك الكثير ممن يمض حياته أو على الأقل جزء منها وهو مدفوع بوسواس الخوف أن يحكم عليه الآخرون بطريقة سلبية وأن ينظرون إليه نظرة فيها ازدراء أو ريبة أو عدم رضى، فيعمل كل شيء من أجل إرضاء الآخرين حتى وان تطلب الأمر أن يضر نفسه وأن يدوس على قيمه ومبادئه والمهم أن يكون عندهم مقبول وأن يرضى عنه الآخرون وأن يقولون عنه أشياء جميلة
البعض الآخر على العكس تماما، لا يهمهم رأي الناس فيهم، بقدر ما يهمهم ما يفكرون هم عن أنفسهم، وهذه الفئة تخضع كل الأمور إلى معاييرهم الشخصية أما معايير الآخرين وحكمهم فلا يكادون يسمعونه أو يولونه أدنى اهتمام.
الفئة الأولى من الناس يظنون أنهم على حق وهم بهذا يحاولون إقناع أنفسهم أن سلوكهم هذا سيجعلهم يستفيدون ويمرون بين الناس دون أن ينتبه لهم أحد ويقضون مصالحهم ويحصلون على الامتيازات، ولكنهم سيكتشفون مع مرور الوقت أن ما كانوا يفعلونه هو خسارة صافية للوقت والجهد والطاقة.
إن هذا البعض من الناس سيقضون سنين وأعوام ليفهموا في الأخير أنه من المستحيل إرضاء كل الناس وأن إرضاء الناس غاية لا تدرك فعلا.
إن الشخص الوحيد الذي يجب إرضائه هو أنفسنا نحن وهذه ليست أنانية، وهذا يعني أن كل فعل وكل عمل يجب أن يجعلنا نفتخر بأنفسنا وأن نكون راضين عن أنفسنا، وهذا هو المهم، فكل عمل نأتيه يجب أن يساعدنا على تمتين علاقتنا بأنفسنا وتمتين ثقتنا بأنفسنا وتقوية اتصالنا بذاتنا.
إن المهم هو أن نرضي أنفسنا وأن نكون على وفاق مع داخليتنا حتى نستطيع أن نرضي الآخرين، فعندما تكون علاقتنا مع ذاتنا جيدة وممتازة فسينعكس هذا على علاقتنا مع الآخرين وعندها فقط سيرانا الناس كما نحب ونرضى.
