العرب يساعدون أمريكا للخروج من أزمتها الإقتصادية

العرب ‬يشترون ‬طائرات ‬أمريكا ‬لإنقاذ ‬اقتصادها

كشفت برقيات دبلوماسية حسب موقع "ويكيليكس" عن عدة مناسبات تدخل فيها دبلوماسيون أمريكيون للتشجيع على إبرام صفقات بمليارات الدولارات يعتبرونها أساسية لنمو الاقتصاد الأمريكي. وقالت واحدة من البرقيات إن العاهل السعودي الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز وتلبية لطلب شخصي من الرئيس الأمريكي (السابق) جورج بوش في 2006، اشترى 43 طائرة بوينغ لشركة الطيران السعودية و13 طائرة أخرى للأسطول الملكي، وأضافت أن الملك السعودي "كان يريد كل التكنولوجيا المتوفرة في طائرة صديقه الرئيس بوش "اير فورس وان". وأوضحت البرقية أن الملك قال إنه عندما تزود طائرته بأكثر تجهيزات الاتصالات والدفاع تطورا إن شاء الله سيتخذ قرارا يعجبكم كثيرا.. وكانت شركة الطيران السعودية التي تملكها الحكومة وقعت عقدا لشراء 12 طائرة جديدة من طراز (بوينغ 777 - 300 اي آر) بقيمة 3,3 مليارات دولار
وأكدت ‬وزارة ‬الخارجية ‬الأمريكية ‬للتايمز ‬انها ‬سمحت ‬(‬بتحديث)‬ ‬في ‬طائرة ‬الملك، ‬لكنها ‬رفضت ‬ذكر ‬أي ‬تفاصيل ‬أخرى ‬لأسباب ‬أمنية.‬
وفي برقية أخرى، طلبت رئيسة وزراء بنغلادش، الشيخة حسينة واجد، منح الشركة الوطنية للطيران حقوق الهبوط في مطار كينيدي في نيويورك كشرط لإبرام صفقة مع بوينغ، وقالت حسبما ورد في برقية تعود إلى نوفمبر 2009 "إذا لم يكن هناك توقف في نيويورك فما الفائدة من شراء بوينغ؟"
وقد أبرمت الصفقة، لكن شركة بيمان بنغلادش للطيران لم تمنح حقوق الهبوط، كما ذكرت الصحيفة. وذكرت نيويورك تايمز أن هذه الممارسات استمرت على رغم اتفاق عمره عقودا بين الولايات المتحدة والقادة الاوروبيين بإبقاء السياسيين بعيدين عن عقود شركات الطيران، الا أن وزارة ‬الخارجية ‬الامريكية ‬دافعت ‬في ‬تصريحات ‬للصحيفة ‬عن ‬هذه ‬المساهمة، ‬وقالت ‬إن ‬صادرات ‬بهذه ‬الأرقام ‬الكبيرة ‬أساسية ‬لجهود ‬الرئيس ‬أوباما ‬من ‬أجل ‬إخراج ‬البلاد ‬من ‬أزمتها ‬الاقتصادية.‬ ‬
وقال ‬روبرت ‬هورماتس، ‬مساعد ‬وزيرة ‬الخارجية ‬للشؤون ‬الاقتصادية، ‬للصحيفة ‬"‬انه ‬واقع ‬القرن ‬الحادي ‬والعشرين: ‬الحكومات ‬تلعب ‬دورا ‬أكبر ‬في ‬دعم ‬شركاتها، ‬وعلينا ‬أن ‬نفعل ‬الأمر ‬نفسه". ‬
ويبدو أن ايرباص تلقت دعما مماثلا، فقد وصفت الصحيفة نقلا عن مذكرات أمريكية سباقا بين إدارة بوش وحكومة الرئيس الفرنسي نيكولا ساركوزي للفوز بعقد مع البحرين في 2007. وفي نهاية المطاف، نجح دبلوماسيون أمريكيون في اقناع البحرين بشراء طائرات بوينغ بعدما ربطوا توقيع ‬العقد ‬بزيارة ‬للرئيس ‬بوش ‬في ‬يناير ‬2008، ‬كانت ‬الاولى ‬لرئيس ‬أمريكي. ‬
