من عجائب ما أتى به العقل العلمي التكنيكي الحديث من استكشاف حديث أن فريقاً علمياً من جامعة البيركا الكندية قد استطاع مؤخراً تطوير طريقة جديدة لتوليد الكهرباء من المياه عندما يتم ضخها عبر قنوات صغيرة إذ صرح البروفيسور لاري كوستيوك من الجامعة الآنفة: أصبح توليد الطاقة الكهربائية مباشرة من السوائل المتدفقة في القنوات الصغيرة حيث ستقدم مصدراً نقياً للطاقة يمكنه في النهاية أن يشغل أجهزة صغيرة مثل الهاتف المحمول بواسطة بطاريات كهربائية معدة أساساً من طاقة حركة السوائل، وهذا ويتردد الآن أن هذه الطريقة هي الأولى من نوعها لتوليد الكهرباء بعد أكثر من 150 سنة على اكتشافه أول مرة، حسبما نشرته مجلة معهد الفيزياء، التابع للجامعة المذكورة ويمكن حصر تفرد هذا الاكتشاف العلمي ­ التكنيكي بكون العلماء استطاعوا عبره تطوير كتلة زجاجية يصل قطرها لحد سنتمترين فقط وسمكها لا يتجاوز الثلاثة ملليمترات لكنها تحتوي على 400 ألف إلى 500 ألف قناة فردية يمكن توليد الطاقة الكهربائية منها والمثير أكثر في هذا الاختراع أن تطبيقات الإلكترونيات وأجهزة الميكرو والإلكترونيات مثيرة للغاية.‏ ‏ وفي مصر نجح الباحث الدكتور عبد اللطيف طه حسبما نشرت صحيفة الشرق الأوسط ذلك مؤخراً في إنتاج نوعيات من الحرير الصناعي والورق الخفيف أو السميك الكارتون وبطرق غير تقليدية بعد اعتماده على أنواع مختلفة من الخشب الممزوج بالسليلوز المستخرج أساساً من قشر الأرز وكان الباحث قد توصل إلى هذه التركيبة بعد إجراءات معاملات كيميائية راعت تغيير ظروف التفاعل ومدته والأوعية المستخدمة ويمتاز هذا الاكتشاف برخص ثمنه علماً أن تحويل قشر الأرز إلى لب خشب وسليلوز وورق وكارتون وحرير صناعي في مصر بات من الأمور التي تتحدث عنها الأوساط المصرية بشغف وتندر ومن يدري فربما أستطاع أحد العلماء يوماً أن يكون الذهب من حبات البطاطا!‏ ‏ ومن معجزات العلم والتكنولوجيا ما تناقلته الأخبار الحديثة من أن جسراً مائياً معلقاً وعملاقاً ينقل سفن كبيرة بين قناتين ويسهل الحركة بين مدن أوروبية قد توصل إليه العقل العلمي في ألمانيا ويعد من المعجزات حقاً في عالم التقنية المعاصرة والجسر قد أطلق عليه اسم جسر ماغربورغ الذي تم افتتاحه مؤخراً هذا وبلغت كلفة الجسر الذي يعتبر معجزة نحو 2.3 مليار يورو وإن الجسر بُني بتقنية خاصة مقاومة للهزات الأرضية، وتم تنفيذ ذلك من خلال اجلاس الجسر على كتل خرسانية مسلحة بالفولاذ تحتوي على نوابض هائلة لامتصاص الصدمات تشبه نوابض امتصاص السيارات في عجلات السيارات وترتفع النوابض مساحة (15) متراً عن سطح الماء.‏ ‏ هذا كما استطاع العلماء الأمريكان اكتشاف أول طائرة تعمل بأشعة الليزر وذلك بعد مرور قرابة قرن على تحليق أول طائرة تعمل بالوقود لكن وزن الطائرة المقدمة كنموذج أولي يبلغ 300 غرام ولا يتجاوز طولها 1.5 متر وسيساعد عدم وجود خزان للوقود على الطائرة في إيجاد فراغ يمكن ملؤه بالمعدات التكنولوجية وأجهزة الاتصالات ويقول مصدر علمي في وكالة الفضاء الأمريكية ناسا إن هذا الطراز من الطائرات يمكن استخدامه في عمليات المراقبة ‏ ‏ المصدر :صحيفة تشرين
