وما صحَّ بين أيدينا
وفي المسجد جماعة
والمكتبة نفيسة وتزخر

والعصافير تطير وتشدوآ

وللأغنام مرابعها
وما زال في الحليب دفءٌ ومعنى

فما زالت الأشجار تكبر وتثمر
والمطر ينزل وينزل
والناس عن شوقٍ يتزاورون

فما زال في الطريق بهجة
ولليالي الشتاء أحاديث سمر
وهناك من ينتظر

تفاءل وأنصت لمن قال
لتكن حياتك كلها أملاً جميلاً طيباً
ولتملأ الأحلام نفسك في الكهولة والصبا
مثل الكواكب في السماء ؛ وكالأزاهر في الربا
ليكن بأمر الله قلبك عالَماً في ذاته
أزهاره لا تذبل
ونجومه لا تأفل
