أكد رئيس نادي لونس الفرنسي، جيرفي مارتال، أن اسم الدولي الجزائري ووسط ميدان فولفسبورغ الألماني كريم زياني قد اقترح عليه، فالأمر هنا مختلف، حسب الرجل الأول في الفريق، حيث لا يعني أن مدلل الخضر سينضم إلى لونس، قائلا: ”زياني يلعب في منصب وسط ميدان هجومي، لكننا الآن مهتمون بإعادة الاستقرار لخط الدفاع”

وأضاف مارتال، في تصريح لموقع النادي الفرنسي، أن إدارته بحاجة إلى لاعب تنافسي، أو بالأحرى لاعب خاض أغلب مباريات مرحلة الذهاب الماضية، على عكس وضعية اللاعب السابق لأولمبيك مرسيليا السابق، الذي لم يخض سوى أربع مباريات هذا الموسم في البوندسليغا. وكشف رئيس لونس أيضا بأن إدارته تقترب من ضم أربعة لاعبين، وهو عدد كاف لغلق ملف الاستقدامات، لكنه علق على حديثه هذا ولم يعتبر أن المشكل مالي، بالنسب لتعامله مع قضية زياني، قائلا في الصدد ”سنجلب زياني غدا إذا رغبت، لكن المشكل أنني أبحث عن لاعبين يشاركون بانتظام ولديهم بنية قوية، تمكنهم من منح الإضافة للفريق”. من جهة أخرى أفادت تقارير صحفية ألمانية أن اللاعب الجزائري التحق بتدريبات فريق الذئاب ظهر أول أمس، وخاض ساعتين من التدريب مع رفقائه تحت قيادة المدرب لورانس كوستنر، والذي أثنى من جهته على انضباط القائد الثاني في المنتخب الوطني، علما أن الأخير غير معني بالاستمرار في فريق الذئاب، كونه لم يعد ضمن خيارات ماكلارين وهو قريب من الالتحاق بدوري الدرجة الأولى الفرنسية.
