Une grande couple azurée est au dessus de nos tetes. C'est le ciel. Ce n'est pas une vraie couple meme si elle nous parait l'etre. Comme sa couleur est belle ! En été, elle est sans tache. En hiver, nous y voyons très souvent des nuages. Quand ils s'accumulent et deviennent noirs, c'est la pluie qui tombe sur la terre et si le froid est intense la neige remplace la pluie. Le soleil luit dans le ciel durant le jour; la lune et les étoiles durant la nuit. Le soleil se lève à l'orient et se couche à l'occident. Il nous éclaire et nous réchauffe. Sans lui, ni les semences ne pousseraient, ni les animaux ne vivraient. La lune varie : au début c'est un arc fin appelé croissant, puis elle croit, devient ronde, c'est la pleine lune. Puis elle redevient ce qu'elle était pour disparaitre avant de croitre une autre fois. Les étoiles sont très nombreuses et chaque étoile est comme le soleil, mais elles sont très lointaines, aussi leur lumière est faible.

الترجمة العربية للنص :
فوق رأسنا قبّةٌ زرقاء واسعة. هي السماء ، ليست قبّةً حقيقية لكنّها تظهر لنا كأنها قبّة . ما أجمل لونَها . هي صافية وقت الصيف . أما في الشتاء فكثيرا ما نرى فيها الغيوم . إذا تكاثرت الغيوم و اسودّت ينزل المطر على الأرض و إذا كان البرد قاسيا جدّا ينزل ثلج عوضا عن المطر على الأرض . في السماء تضيء الشّمس في النهار و القمرُ و النّجومُ في الليل .الشمس تشرق من جهة المشرق و تغيب من جهة المغرب. هي التي تنيرنا و تدفئنا. لولاها لا يطلع الزرع و لا يعيش الحيوان. القمر يتغيّر في أوّله هو قوس رفيع يسمّى هلالا ثمّ يكبر و يصبح مدوّرا فيسمّى بدرا ثم يرجع كما كان و يغيب ليطلع ثانية . النجومُ كثيرة جدّا و كلّ نجم هو كالشّمس غير أنه بعيد جدّا و لذلك نوره خفيف.
