J'ai deux mains et deux pieds.Avec mes mais j'écris et je porte de légers fardeaux, j'accomplis mes actions journalières. Je me tiens sur mes pieds, je marche, je cours et joue. J'ai une tete dans laquelle il y a deux yeux pour voir, deux oreilles pour entendre, un nez pour flairer et une bouche contenant des dents et une langue, pour gouter, manger et parler. J'ai un coeur à gauche dans ma poitrine, Quand J'y pose ma main, je le sens palpiter. Quand il s'arretera, je mourrai . Dans mon corps il y a aussi beaucoup d'autres choses : mes os que recouvre ma chair, recouverte elle meme par ma peau. Mon corps est sensible. Il ressent le froid, le chaud et tout ce qui le touche. Celui qui ne voit pas est aveugle. Celui qui n'entend pas est sourd, celui qui ne parle pas est muet . Il y a des aveugles, des sourds et des muets et leur situation est bien pénible.

لي يدان و رجلان . بيديّ أكتب و أحمل أحمالا خفيفة و أعمل أعمالي اليومية ، و على رجليّ أقف و أمشي و أركض و ألعب . لي رأس فيه عينان لأبصر و أذنان لأسمع و أنف لأشم و فم فيه أسنان و لسان لأذوق و آكل و أتكلم . لي قلب في صدري لجهة الشمال . عندما أجعل يدي عليه أسمعه يخفق . إذا سكن أموت . في جسمي أشياء أخرى كثيرة : عظامي يغطيها اللحم و اللحم يغطيه الجلد . جسمي حسّاس يشعر بالبرد و بالحرّ و بكل ما يمسه . الذي لا يبصر هو أعمى و الذي لا يسمع هو أطرش و الذي لا يتكلم هو أخرس . من الناس من هم عميان و خرس و طرش فما أصعب هذه الحال ؟!
