تونس ... أخبار عن حماية الجيش للمواطنين و إقالة قائد الأركان

أفادت تقارير أن الرئيس التونسي زين العابدين بن علي أقال رئيس هيئة أركان الجيوش الجنرال رشيد عمار، بسبب تحفظه على "القبضة الحديدية" التي يعالج بها الرئيس الأزمة الاجتماعية المتفجرة في البلاد منذ أسابيع.
وذكرت صحيفة "الدولية" الإلكترونية التي تصدر من باريس نقلاً عن مصدر تونسي مطلع قالت إنه فضل عدم الكشف عن اسمه، إن الجنرال بن عمار رفض إصدار الأوامر للجيش التونسي باستعمال القوة ضد المتظاهرين، ما جعل الرئيس التونسي يتخذ قرارا عاجلا بإبعاده، وتعيين الجنرال أحمد شبير مدير المخابرات العسكرية محله.
وبحسب الصحيفة التي قالت إنه لم يتسن التأكد من الخبر من مصدر رسمي، فإن الرئيس بن علي خير الفريق أول رشيد عمار رئيس أركان جيش البر بين إطلاق الرصاص على المتظاهرين، أو الإقالة فاختار الثانية.
وذكرت نقلا عن عن شهود عيان في مدينة الرقاب بمحافظة سيدي بوزيد وسط غرب تونس، إن جنودا من وحدات الجيش صوبوا رشاشاتهم نحو العشرات من رجال الشرطة، حينما ركض مجموعة من المواطنين نحو شاحنات للجيش للاحتماء بها هربا من مطاردات فرق مكافحة الشغب.
وقالت إن هذه الحادثة تعد الأولى من نوعها منذ أن أقال الرئيس بن علي رئيس أركان الجيش البري، وهو ما رأته يعزز من الشكوك حول وجود فئة عريضة داخل المؤسسة العسكرية التونسية غير متفقة مع ما يجري و يدور من عمليات قتل للمواطنين العزل بالرصاص الحي.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن موجة كبيرة من الإحتجاجات شهدتها مدينة الرقاب، صاحبها إطلاق مكثف للرصاص الحي من قبل أفراد شرطة مكافحة الشغب،م ا دفع بعض المتظاهرين إلى الهرب و الاحتماء بالجيش التونسي، وعند وصول الشرطة إلى المكان لمحاصرة الفارين ببنادقها، اعترض طريقها عدد كبير من الجنود برشاشاتهم مهددينهم بإفراغها نحوهم أمام ذهول وتعجب المواطنين الفارين.
وتقدم ضابط كبير للشرطة نحو كتيبة الجيش ليطالبها بتسليم المتظاهرين، أو السماج لهم باعتقالهم، غير أن الجيش التونسي رفض ذلك ومنع الشرطة من ملاحقة السكان مشهرين السلاح في وجههم، فيما ظل أفراد الشرطة مندهشين بشاهدون ما يجري أمامهم في استغراب كبير، بحسب رواية الصحيفة.
وتجاوز عدد القتلى بنيران الشرطة في تونس 50 قتيلا في مدينتي القصرين وتالا وحدها، فيما سقط 14 آخرون في مدن متفرقة.
وكان الجيش التونسي انسحب الخميس من العاصمة التونسية حيث تمركزت وحدات خاصة تابعة للشرطة في وسط المدينة، غداة ليلة هادئة فرض خلالها حظر للتجول، كما ذكرت صحفية من وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية.
وانتشرت مدرعات ووحدات التدخل التابعة للشرطة في مكان دبابات الجيش في جادة الحبيب بورقيبة وقرب ساحة برشلونة على مقربة من محطة كبيرة لقطارات الضواحية الجنوبية والترامواي.
ولم يبق سوى آليتين للجيش على متنهما جنود مسلحون في ساحة ابن خلدون مقابل السفارة الفرنسية.
وانطلقت شرارة الاحتجاجات في 18 ديسمبر من مدينة سيدي بوزيد (265 كيلومترا جنوب العاصمة تونس) غداة إقدام بائع متجول على الانتحار بإحراق نفسه احتجاجا على تعرضه للصفع والبصق على الوجه من قبل شرطية (امرأة) تشاجر معها بعد أن منعته من بيع الخضر والفاكهة دون ترخيص من البلدية، ولرفض المحافظة قبول تقديمه شكوى ضد الشرطية.
واتخذت الأحداث منحى مأساويا حين قتل شاب في مدينة بوزيان التابعة لمحافظة سيدي بوزيد برصاص الشرطة أثناء مواجهات عنيفة بين محتجين وقوات للشرطة كانت تحاول منع الشبان من السيطرة على مركز للحرس. وأسفرت الاشتباكات حتى الآن عن مقتل خمسة أشخاص بينهم ثلاث حالات انتحار.
ووصفت الاحتجاجات بأنها الأكثر جدية منذ تولي الرئيس زين العابدين بن علي السلطة منذ 23 عاما. وقال بن علي إنه يتفهم إحباط الشبان العاطلين، إلا أنه قال إن الشغب يضر بصورة تونس لدى المستثمرين والسياح الأجانب، ولاحقًا وصف الاحتجاجات بأنها "أعمال إرهابية" مدعومة من الخارج.
