أمراض التهاب المفاصل بالجزائر

قرابة الـ10 آلاف طفل مصابون بأمراض التهاب المفاصل والعمود الفقري بالجزائر،والسبب يبقى مجهولا، و التشخيص المبكر لها يقي من مضاعفاتها الخطيرة التي تنتهي بإعاقة كلية للطفل.
هذه الأمراض تظهر غالبا في سن 4 و5 إلى 9 سنوات ليصيب المراهقين بصفة ملحوظة. وهذا لا يستثني ظهورها من قبل، كما يوجد صغار ظهر عندهم المرض في سن العامين. وهي الأمراض التي تصيب الأطراف العليا ''مفاصل اليدين'' عند الفتيات لتتحول إلى مفاصل الرقبة ثم مختلف أنحاء الجسم، كما تظهر عند الذكور على مستوى الأطراف السفلى، وتشمل بعدها العمود الفقري خاصة منطقة الحوض. وعن أعراضها تتمثل في ألم على مستوى المفاصل وانعدام الحركة صباحا مع انتفاخ على مستوى الركبة واليدين. وعلى الآباء أن يسارعوا في إخضاع أبنائهم للكشف عند ظهور أحد هذه الأعراض ''لأن التشخيص المبكر لهذه الأمراض وإخضاع الصغير للأدوية مع توفير عوامل أخرى مثل الألبسة الدافئة، الأحذية الملائمة، وقفازات طبية مقوّمة لاتقاء اعوجاج اليدين، تخفيض حمل المحفظة قدر المستطاع، كلها تمكّن الصغير من ممارسة حياته بصفة عادية مع الاستمرار في الدراسة، وتقيه مضاعفات الداء الممثلة في عدم نموه ''قصر في القامة'' واعوجاج في اليدين لتتطور إلى حد الإعاقة التامة.
مما يجبر على الاستعانة بصفائح اصطناعية ''أجهزة اصطناعية تعوّض المفاصل''، تركب لهم لتمكينهم من الحركة واتقاء الآلام، علما أن هذه الأخيرة نادرة بمستشفيات الجزائروتكون النتيجة بالتالي الانتهاء على كرسي متحرك في سن جد مبكرة وحرمانه من الدراسة.
