في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، بالضبط في دبي، يمكن أن نجد جزر النخلة المدهشة، تلك الجزر الإصطناعية الثلاث الأكبر في العالم. المشروع، الذي بدأ في سنة 2002، سيزيد ساحل دبي تقريبا 120 كيلومتر وسيخلق مناطق كبيرة من الإستجمام والترفيه. هذه الجزر الإصطناعية الثلاث ستحوّل دبي إلى إحدى أكثر وأهم المناطق السياحية في العالم. كلّ جزيرة محاطة بموانع على هيئة تاج التي تعمل كموانع للأمواج.

رئيس حوض السمك العالمي لسانت لويس (الولايات المتّحدة)، ليونارد سونيشين، الرجل الذي في يديه هذه الأفعى الصغيرة برأسين, قرّر بيعها وعرضهافي ال E-bay بداية من 150.00 دولار.

هذا مزارع فلسطيني (محمود أبو زنيد) يحمل دجاجة بأربعة أرجل في مزرعته الواقعة في مدينة هارد، قريبة من الخليل. ليس هناك تفسير واضح لهذه العاهة النادرة جدا ونمو زوج إضافي من الكفوف .

وكالصورة السابقة هذه البطّة الصغيرة لها 4 ارجل وهي تبدو سعيدة بشأنها!
ولدت في مزرعة (Warrawee) في هامبشاير، إنجلترا. وهو تغير غريب الذي ترك البطّة بكفّين زائدين عن الكفين التي عادة توجد عند البط. الصورة التقطت في 20 فبراير/شباط 2007.

اسمه (Xi Shum)، صيني وهو اطول رجل حي بطول 2.36 مترا. في هذه الصورة المدهشة نرى بأنّه يمشي في شوارع سان بابلو، البرازيل والناس ملتفون حوله .

مالكو البيت تحدّوا قرارا قضائيا أمرهم بترك البناء بعد رفض العرض الذي عرضته عليهم شركة بناء كبيرة.
بدأت المعركة القضائية عندما صدقّت الصين قانونا جديدا يحمي الملكية الخاصّة. الصورة المدهشة للبيت الوحيد التقطت في مارس/آذار 26, 2007 , وهي توضّح مثالا لمقاومة ناس بسطاء ضدّ المصالح الإقتصادية الكبيرة.
