لم تهدأ الأوضاع على الصعيد الاجتماعي في الجزائر؛ حيث أضرم عدد من الشباب النار في أجسادهم، بسبب البطالة والسكن، في محاولة منهم وضع حد لحياتهم. وشهدت كل من تبسّة وجيجل وبومرداس والعاصمة حوادث مشابهة لصور انتحار الشاب ''محمد بوعزيزي'' في سيدي بوزيد، والتي سبقتها أحداث مشابهة في الجزائر بداية من .2005
أقدم شاب في بلدية عين البنيان في العاصمة ليلة أول أمس، على إضرام النار في المسكن الفوضوي الذي يقطنه رفقة عائلته، في حي '',''9 احتجاجا على أزمة السكن، وتسببت النيران في إصابة والده الذي كان يرقد في غرفته.
وأوضحت مصادر أمنية بأن الشاب كان في حالة سكر، وانتقد الوضع الاجتماعي الذي تعيشه أسرته منذ سنوات. وقرّر في لحظة يأس أن يلفت الانتباه إلى حالته الاجتماعية بالتخلص من المسكن الفوضوي، للاستفادة من مسكن اجتماعي من البلدية.
ونقل والده على جناح السرعة إلى مصلحة الاستعجالات الجراحية بمستشفى المدينة، حيت يتلقى العلاج اللازم بسبب إصابته بحروق من الدرجة الثانية. وفتحت مصالح الأمن تحقيقا في القضية لمعرفة ملابساتها الحقيقية.
يحدث هذا في الوقت الذي يرقد فيه المواطن ''ع. محمد'' مستشفى برج منايل ببومرداس، الذي أقدم منذ ثلاثة أيام، على إضرام النار في جسده، بعد أن تم إقصاؤه من قائمة المستفيدين من السكن الاجتماعي، الذي ظل ينتظره منذ 11 سنة كاملة.
وكانت محاولة المواطن الانتحار في مكتب رئيس الدائرة، احتجاجا على أزمة السكن التي يعاني منها لسنوات. وحتى قبل أن يتم تداول انتحار الشاب محمد بوعزيزي في سيدي بوزيد في تونس بتاريخ 17 ديسمبر الفارط، التي كانت بداية الاحتجاجات العارمة في كل أنحاء البلاد، سبق للجزائريين أن انتحروا على ''الحفرة'' والبطالة وأزمة السكن، منذ سنوات.
ومن بين المحاولات المسجلة إقدام شيخ على الانتحار داخل محكمة حسين داي بالعاصمة، شهر جوان الفارط، حيث أفرغ البنزين على نفسه، وهدد بإضرام النار، احتجاجا على تنفيذ قرار طرده من محله التجاري المتواجد بضواحي العاصمة.
كما شهد مقر بلدية الشلف يوم الخميس 29 أكتوبر 2009 كارثة، إثر إقدام المواطن ''ق. يوسف''، رفقة زوجته وابنته البالغة من العمر 4 سنوات، على محاولة الانتحار بصب البنزين على أجسادهم، قبل أن يضرم النار في نفسه أمام مكتب رئيس بلدية الشلف احتجاجا على هدم بيته القصديري.
وفي فالمة أقدم شاب يبلغ من العمر 19 سنة والمقيم بحي عين الدفلى، على رش جسمه بالبنزين وإضرام النار فيه، مخلفا حالة من الذعر في أوساط السكان، بعدما أصيب بحروق في أنحاء عديدة من الجسم، منتصف أكتوبر الفارط. وهذا احتجاجا على البطالة.
كما انتحر المواطن طالب عبد الرحمان من الجلفة، داخل مقر دار الصحافة طاهر جاووت بساحة أول ماي، منذ حوالي 5 سنوات، حيث أحرق نفسه بالبنزين، بسبب مشكل عقار.
