ويكليكس يستعد لفضح حسابات الحكام العرب في بنوك سويسرا

عواصم / أعلن جوليان أسانج، مؤسس موقع ويكيليكس، المتخصص في نشر الوثائق الدبلوماسية السرية، عن تعهده بنشر وثائق سرية تخص الحسابات المالية للرؤساء والحكام العرب في البنوك الأجنبية، وذلك بعد حصوله على قرصين مضغوطين، يحتويان على آلاف المستندات السرية، حول العمليات المصرفية السويسرية.

وكشف مؤسّس موقع ويكيليكس، أول أمس، من بريطانيا، عن تسلمه من قبل مصرفي سويسري، قرصين مضغوطين، يحتويان على آلاف المستندات السرية حول العمليات المصرفية في البنوك السويسرية، وتعهد بنشر الوثائق "خلال أسابيع قليلة"، إن تمكن من تحليلها بالشكل المناسب، وهي عبارة عن قوائم تضم أسماء عدد من الحكام العرب والمسلمين، أودعوا مبالغ ضخمة في البنوك السويسرية.

وأكد، رودلف إيلمر، المصرفي السويسري الذي سلم لأسانج القرصين، أنه قام بحذف الأسماء من الوثائق، وركز فقط على العمليات، وقال إن ما لديه من مستندات يتناول حسابات أكثر من ألفي عميل، ولكن الرقم الحقيقي للأشخاص الذين تتعلق المستندات بهم، قد يكون أكبر بكثير، بسبب الشراكات التي تربطهم.

وقال إيلمر، في ندوة صحفية رفقة أسانج، إنه انطلاقاً من وظيفته: "لديه الحق للوقوف ضد ما يراه أمراً غير صائب"، ودافع عن موقفه بتسريب الوثائق، رغم أنه سيمثل اليوم أمام القضاء السويسري بتهمة خرق قانون السرية المصرفية. وتابع "أريد أن يعرف الناس كيف تدار هذه الأمور، والنظام الذي يحكمها، وكيف أن حركة الأموال إلى مناطق غير خاضعة للرقابة القانونية يدمّر مجتمعاتنا".

وشرح قائلاً: "بدأت حياتي المصرفية في بنوك جزر كايمان، وعندما باشرت البحث بموضوع تحويلات الأموال إلى الخارج، كنت أظن أنني أنظر إلى ذيل فأر، ولكن بعد التعمق في التحقيق، اكتشفت أنني أمام ذيل تنين، وهو في الواقع تنين متعدد الرؤوس"، وتعهد إيلمر بمقاضاة النظام المصرفي السويسري أمام محكمة حقوق الإنسان، التابعة للاتحاد الأوروبي، وأعرب عن شكره لويكيليكس لتعهدها بنشر الوثائق، بعد أن قام بتقديمها للسلطات، دون أن تتخذ أي إجراءات بحق أصحابها .

وتعد البنوك السويسرية الملاذ الآمن لبعض الحكام العرب، ومن أهم البنوك العالمية التي تجذب أموال الأغنياء من رؤساء الدول العربية، باعتبارها تعمل بقاعدة السر المصرفي، وتميزها بالسرية في الصفقات التجارية للبنوك، واحتفاظها بالطابع السرّي لمعلومات زبائنها. وتشير تقديرات إلى أن الأصول المالية غير المعلنة المُودعة في سويسرا تقارب 700 مليار دولار.
