اندلاع مظاهرات واشتباكات مسلَّحة في جنوب اليمن

أُصيب ستة أشخاص من بينهم ثلاثة جنود في اشتباكات مسلَّحة اندلعت بين قوات الأمن ومسلحين في مدينة "خورمكسر" بمحافظة عدن جنوب البلاد.

وقال شهود عيان مساء أمس الأربعاء: "إن قوَّات الأمن نشرت تعزيزاتها وسط الشوارع والأسواق بالمدينة", بحسب "الجزيرة" الفضائيَّة.

كما استخدمت قوَّات الأمن القنابل المدمّعة لتفريق متظاهرين من الحراك الجنوبي في مدينة عدن، اندلعت بعد وقت المغرب، وأخذت تشْتد، ثم امتدت إلى مدن أخرى.

وذكرت تقارير أن صدامات وقعتْ مع قوات الأمن التي اعتقلت عددًا من المتظاهرين، كما وردت أنباء عن إصابات واعتقالات، وأكَّدَت مصادر أن الوضع مرشح للتصعيد.

يشار إلى أن الحراك الجنوبي ينادي بعودة دولة الجنوب, وزادت حدة المطالب منذ يونيو الماضي، إثر دعوات أطلقها رئيس الجنوب السابق علي سالم البيض من منفاه في ألمانيا.

وخلال الأسبوع الماضي، تدخلت قوات الأمن اليمنية لتفريق متظاهرين بمدينة المكلا عاصمة محافظة حضرموت جنوب شرق اليمن, انطلقوا عقب صلاة الجمعة للمطالبة بإطلاق معتقلي الحراك الجنوبي، ونددوا بمقتل امرأة على أيدي قوات الأمن المركزي.

وأدان الحزب الاشتراكي اليمني -الذي حكم الجنوب قبل قيام الوحدة اليمنية عام 1990، في بيان صحفي- بشدة "الحملات العسكرية على المناطق المدنية وتهجير السكان وقتل النساء والأطفال والعجزة، وإلحاق أبلغ الأضرار بالسكينة العامة والاستمرار في تمزيق النسيج الوطني", حسب قوله.

وقال الحزب: "إن هذا السلوك ليس سوى استمرار لحرب 1994 الظالمة على الجنوب وتغليب مبدأ الغلبة على روح القانون وعمل المؤسسات، بينما كان بمقدور السلطة أن تلاحق المطلوبين للعدالة -إن وجدوا- بالوسائل القضائيَّة والأمنيَّة".

احتجاجات في اليمن والرئيس يعرض إجراء إصلاحات
نزل آلاف المحتجين إلى شوارع بلدة في جنوب اليمن للتعبير عن الرفض للإصلاح السياسي الذي اقترحته الحكومة بما في ذلك وضع حد لفترات تولي الرئاسة.

وأعلنت الحكومة خطط الإصلاح في مواجهة استياء متنامٍ أثار احتجاجات متفرقة هذا الأسبوع.

وقالت أحزاب معارضة: إنها ستجتمع غدًا السبت لبحث العرض، فيما احتج آلاف الأشخاص في بلدة تعز الجنوبية قائلين: إن الإصلاحات التي اقترحها الرئيس علي عبد الله صالح ليست كافية، ويحكم صالح اليمن منذ أكثر من ثلاثة عقود.

وقال محمد الصبري رئيس تحالف المعارضة وحزب الإصلاح الإسلامي: إنهم يرغبون في إجراء تعديلات دستورية لكنهم يريدون تعديلات لا تؤدي إلى استمرار الحاكم وتوريث السلطة إلى أولاده.

وأضاف الصبري: إنهم لن يسمحوا لهؤلاء الزعماء بالبقاء في السلطة. وإنهم مستعدون للنوم في الشوارع من أجل البلاد ومن أجل تحريرها من أيدي من وصفهم بالفاسدين.

تأتي الاحتجاجات فيما تشهد تونس عواقب الإطاحة بالرئيس زين العابدين بن علي الذي فر من البلاد بعد أسابيع من الاضطرابات العنيفة التي أشعلتها المظالم الاجتماعية.

ومن بين الخطوات التي طرحها حزب المؤتمر الشعبي العام الحاكم الذي يتزعمه صالح تعديلات تقيد فترات الرئاسة بمرتين مدة كل منهما سبع سنوات - أو خمس سنوات - بالإضافة إلى تسجيل جميع اليمنيين البالغين في كشوف الناخبين. وقالت المعارضة والمحتجون في تعز: إن الإصلاحات لا تضمن عدم خوض صالح الانتخابات مرة أخرى.
