صور مدهشة لإبداع الإنسان في تحدي المستحيل: جسر سد هوفر في أمريكا‎









تخيلوا معي الآتي: تضاريس وعرة للغاية بين جبلين يفصل بينهما وادي شديد الانحدار بعرض 579 متر على ارتفاع 271 متر في الهواء فوق نهر كولورادو، والمطلوب بناء جسر يربط جانبي الوادي على هذا الارتفاع!!


تبدو فكرة مستحيلة لكن للإبداع رأي آخر، ولندع الصورة تتحدث:

ما تشاهدونه في هذه الصورة هو أحد دلائل إبداع الإنسان الذي لا يقف عند أي عائق أو صعوبات، وهو عبارة عن جسر يتم بناؤه الآن في الولايات المتحدة على بعد 48 كم جنوب شرق مدينة لاس فيجاس ويفترض الانتهاء منه في سبتمبر الماضي.

استغرق هذا الجسر الرائع 12 عاماً من التخطيط و5 أعوام من التنفيذ بمشاركة 3,000 عامل تناوبوا العمل صباح مساء دون توقف


سيمر على الجسر عند عمله 17,000 سيارة وشاحنة في اليوم من مرتادي الطريق السريع 93 في الولايات المتحدة، وهو الطريق الذي يخدم لاس فيجاس ونيفادا غرباً وأريزونا والوادي الكبير شرقاً.




على الرغم من روعة المشروع تخطيطاً وتنفيذاً إلا أن اسمه سيصدمكم قليلاً، فدوناً عن كل الأسماء المميزة التي يمكن اختيارها لمشروع بهذا الجمال قررت الجهات المسؤولة تسميته باسم “جسر مايك أوكالاهان-بات تيلمان التذكاري” !! (ألم يكن بالإمكان جعله أكثر صعوبة؟!!!)




ما يُضفي طابعاً مميزاً على هذا الجسر هو السد الذي يطل عليه، فسد هوفر كان أحد أروع المشاريع الهندسية في القرن الماضي حيث بدأ بناؤه عام 1931 وانتهى عام 1963 باستخدام 3.3 مليون متر مكعب من الأسمنت! ولتتخيلوا حجم هذه الكمية تخيلوا أنها تكفي لرصف طريق من القاهرة إلى الرياض بعرض 10 أمتار !!


لذا نرى في هذه المشاهد اجتماع إبداع قرنين مختلفين: سد هوفر في القرن العشرين وجسر ………. في القرن الواحد والعشرين (أجد صعوبة في تذكر اسمه المعقد !
