شبكـة الـ ART ستتوقـف عن البث نهائيًا منتصف العـام الجـاريhttp://69.59.144.138/icon.aspx?m=blank
ستتوقف شبكة “راديو وتلفزيون العرب” (ART) عن العمل بشكل نهائي في منتصف العام الجاري.
و”راديو وتلفزيون العرب”، هي عبارة عن شبكة قنوات متنوعة مشفرة يملكها رجال الأعمال السعودي صالح كامل، وهي تعد أحد أقدم الشبكات العربية الفضائية المتخصصة في الموسيقى والأفلام والمنوعات والأطفال.
ما يعني أن المشاهدين سيحرمون من متابعة القنوات الخاصة بها مثل قناة الأفلام (1) وأفلام (2) وحكايات (1) وحكايات (2) وقناة السينما، والكثير من القنوات المتنوعة الأخرى التي اعتاد عليها المشاهد العربي.
وفقدت الشبكة الكثير من مشاهديها بعدما استحوذت قناة “الجزيرة الرياضية” على جميع القنوات الرياضية التابعة لها، بالإضافة إلى حقوق النقل التلفزيوني لبطولة العالم في البرازيل 2014، واتفق الطرفان على أن يتم إغلاق القنوات من الأولى إلى السادسة في الباقة الرياضية لراديو وتليفزيون العرب، على أن تبقى القنوات الخاصة بنقل الدوري السعودي لكرة القدم (7 و8 و9) مفتوحة، حتى نهاية التعاقد مع الاتحاد السعودي للعبة في عام 2011.
جميع القنوات الرياضية الأخرى السابعة والثامنة والتاسعة ستتوقف هي الأخرى عن البث، كما أن صالح كامل بإمكانه العودة لفتح هذه القنوات مرة أخرى بموجب العقد ولكن بعد عشرات سنوات بحسب الاتفاق المبرم بين الطرفين، ولكن لا تبدو لديه نية لإعادة التجربة لأنه لا يجني أرباحا من الإعلانات أو الاشتراكات مقابل ما ينفقه من أموال طائلة لشراء حقوق بث البطولات الكبيرة وبالأخص مونديال كأس العالم، بعكس قناة الجزيرة الرياضية التي تلقى دعماً كبيراً من الحكومة القطرية وهي لا تهدف إلى الربح مثلما يسعى إليه التاجر.
وكانت الـ ART قد تعرضت لانتقادات واسعة بسبب احتكارها للنقل التلفزيوني لكأس العالم في المنطقة العربية، وجاء انتقال الحقوق لقناة الجزيرة الرياضية خبراً ساراً لجميع الجماهير لأنها تفرض على المشتركين مبالغ رمزية يعتبرها الكثيرون في متناول المشاهد العربي.
