غطاس ليبي لا يعرف السباحة

قالت صحيفة ديلي تليغراف الصادرة امس الثلاثاء ان برقية دبلوماسية أمريكية يعود تاريخها إلى 17 شباط (فبراير) 2009 حملت عنوان 'الغطّاس الذي لا يستطيع السباحة' ذكرت أن الحكومة الايطالية 'موّلت برنامجاً لتدريب ضفادع بشرية في روما على الكشف عن المتفجرات والتفجيرات تحت الماء'.
واضافت الصحيفة نقلاً عن الوثيقة 'بعد عدة أيام من التدريب في الفصول الدراسية، تم نقل المتدربين ومن بينهم طلاب من بلدان مختلفة إلى مسبح لتلقي أول تدريب عملي في المياه، وطلب منهم المدرّب ارتداء الأقنعة والنزول في الجانب العميق من المسبح، لكن طالباً ليبياً لم يدخل المياه'.
واشارت الوثيقة إلى أن المدرب 'توجه إلى الطالب الليبي وقام بوضع القناع على وجهه ووضع منظم التنفس في فمه ثم دفعه إلى المسبح، لكن الطالب الليبي غرق في مياه المسبح مثل حجر وبصق من فمه بعد أن ابتلع كمية كبيرة من المياه'.
وذكرت الصحيفة أن المدربين الايطاليين سحبوا الطالب الليبي من المسبح وافرغوا رئتيه من المياه، واكتشفوا أنه لا يستطيع السباحة وليس عضواً في جهاز الأمن العام الليبي أو الحكومة الليبية، وكان ابن عم المسؤول الذي اختار المرشحين لحضور الدورة التدريبية وأراد فقط قضاء عطلة في روما'.
واجرى وزير الداخلية الايطالي روبرتو ماروني اتصالاً مباشراً مع طرابلس لاستباق أي اتهامات ليبية باساءة معاملة الرجل، كما اشتكى مسؤولون ايطاليون لفظياً من أن طرابلس ارسلت مرشحاً غير مؤهل للمشاركة في برنامج تدريب مولته الحكومة الايطالية.
وتلقت السفارة الايطالية في طرابلس في اليوم التالي رداً مكتوباً جزمت فيه الحكومة الليبية أن مسؤولية الحكومة الايطالية ضمان تأهيل جميع المرشحين لبرامجها التدريبية، وتعليم الطالب الليبي السباحة.
