خلاف حاد بين أبناء القذافي على خلافته

كشفت وثائق دبلوماسية أمريكية سرية نشرها موقع ويكيليكس أن الدبلوماسيين الأمريكيين في طرابلس أبدوا قلقهم بشأن من سيخلف الزعيم الليبي العقيد معمر القذافي.
وقالت صحيفة ''ديلي تليغراف'' نقلا عن الوثائق: ''ليس شيئا جيدا من الناحية التاريخية عندما يكون المتنافسون الليبيون على خلافة القذافي يملكون ميليشيات تحت تصرفهم''. وأضافت أن برقية دبلوماسية أرسلتها السفارة الأمريكية في طرابلس إلى واشنطن، في مارس ,2009 جاء فيها: ''إن المستوى الحالي للخلاف بين أبناء القذافي حاد إلى درجة أن سيف الإسلام لا يتحدث إلى شقيقه المعتصم بالله منذ عدة أشهر''. ونسبت البرقية إلى مصدر ليبي مطلع على الأمور الداخلية في الحكم الليبي قوله ''إن رسالة سيف الإسلام الإصلاحية العلنية تجعله محبوبا من قبل المراقبين الغربيين، في حين أن نداءات المعتصم بالله موجهة للقادة العسكريين وزعماء القبائل في ليبيا''. وذكرت أن المعتصم بالله ''يتمتع بنفوذ هائل ويعمل كمستشار الأمن القومي لليبيا ورافق والده في زيارتين إلى روسيا وإيطاليا في السنوات الأخيرة''.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن أبناء العقيد القذافي الآخرين لا ينظر إليهم كمنافسين معتبرين لخلافة والدهم في السلطة، والذي كان تعرض عام 2007 إلى جلطة دماغية. وقالت ''ليس هناك آلية قانونية في ليبيا لتمرير السلطة إلى زعيم جديد دون دستور رسمي، لكن المرشحين الواضحين لخلافته من بين أبنائه هما سيف الإسلام والمعتصم بالله، يليهما خميس وهانيبعل وسعدي وابنته عائشة''.
