قال خليل الدليمى رئيس هيئة الدفاع عن الرئيس العراقى الراحل صدام حسين ان الجزء الاول من مذكرات صدام قد ينشر نهاية العام الحالي.

وقال الدليمى ان ,,’’’

"العمل يجرى ليل نهار من اجل اعداد مذكرات الرئيس العراقى الراحل صدام حسين لتكون جاهزة للنشر ونتوقع ان ينشر الجزء الاول منها نهاية العام الحالي".

"مذكرات صدام حسين تضم الاف الصفحات منها 400 صفحة بخط يده اما الباقى فاخذناها منه شفويا ووثقناها على الاوراق لان الاميركيين كان يمنعونى من اخذ اى ورقة الى خارج المعتقل".

"المذكرات طويلة وتتضمن مسيرة حياته منذ طفولته وشبابه ونضاله الى حين تسلمه السلطة والى آخر يوم من حياته ولا يمكن ان تنشر بكتاب واحد لذلك نحن ارتأينا تقسيمها الى عدة اجزاء حتى نسهل على القارىء".

التى كانت الوحيدة التى صورت صدام حسين لحظة مغادرته المعتقل للاعدام المسؤولة عن تسريب جزء من هذه المذكرات".

والمكتوبة بخط يده، بدا صدام كرجل عاطفي، يكفي أن يتذكر كلمات اغنية يحبها ليتملكه الحنين وبعض الكآبة. كما يحب المرأة فيكتب لها الأشعار

، ويحتار متى يلتقي عقلها وقلبها. وتارة أخرى، يبدو الرئيس العراقي كرجل متدين يصلي ويستغفر الله، ويدعو الشعب العراقي الى الجهاد ومقاومة الغزاة.

واكد الدليمى ان

"الكتاب قد يصدر بثلاثة اجزاء قد يصل الى الفى صفحة يتضمن الجزء الاول منه مذكراته الشفوية,,.’’

والجزء الثانى مذكراته الخطية

اما الثالث فيتضمن ديوانه الشعري".

"المذكرات تتضمن كذلك ظروف اعتقاله وحياته داخل المعتقل وكيف كان يقضى صدام يومه كأنسان عادى حتى انه لم ينف ما نشرته صحيفة "ذى صن" البريطانية فى احد الايام من صور له وهو يغسل ملابسه بيده".

لكن، في غالبية الاوقات، بدا صدام كقائد عسكري يصدر الاوامر ويعطي التوجيهات ويوقع رسائله باسم "صدام حسين رئيس الجمهورية والقائد العام للقوات المسلحة".

"لقد كان نظيفا جدا الى درجة تجلب الانتباه حتى انه عندما حدثته عن موضوع نشر تلك الصور قال لى

"حتى اذا كنت اغسل ملابسى بيدى ما الضير فى ذلك فأنا انسان مسلم والنظافة من الايمان".

كان يتعاطف صدام مع أطبائه الأمريكيين، فيقول إن كثيرين منهم يتم استدعاؤه للخدمة المدنية وليسوا من نظام الجيش. وتمنى صدام أن يحفـــظ الله له قلبه وصحته ليرى العراق قوياً منتصراً، وليمكنه من الزواج ثانية والإنجاب من جديد
