تواضعه صلّى الله عليه وسلّم

كان رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم متواضِعًا بعيدًا عن الأنَفَة والكبر، لم يكن يصنع حول نفسه هالة ومكانة، بل كان يسعَى إلى أن يعيش كما يعيش غيره. حيث نلمس التّواضع في حياة النّبيّ الكريم عليه الصّلاة والسّلام الشخصية، في بيته، في ملبسه، في فراشه وفي طعامه.
يُصوِّر خادمه سيّدنا أنس بن مالك، رضي الله عنه، شيئًا من ذلك، فيروي أنّ جدته مليكة دعَت رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم لطعام صنعته، فأكَلَ منه، ثمّ قال: ''قومُوا فأُصلّي لكم'' قال أنس بن مالكٍ: فقمتُ إلى حصير لنا قد اسودَّ من طول ما لبس فنضحته بماء، فقام عليه رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم وصففت أنا واليتيم وراءه والعجوز من ورائنا، فصلّى لنا رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم ركعتين ثمّ انصرف'' أخرجه البخاري ومسلم. كما يروي لنا سيّدنا عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه موقفًا ترك أثرًا في نفسه حتّى أبكاه، يقول وهو يصف حاله عند دخوله على محمّد صلّى الله عليه وسلّم: ''... وإنّه لعَلَى حصير ما بينه وبينه شيء، وتحت رأسه وِسادة من أدمٍ حشوها ليفٌ، وإنّ عند رجليه قرظًا مصبوبًا وعند رأسه أهبٌ معلّقةٌ، فرأيتُ أثر الحصير في جنبه فبكيتُ'' أخرجه البخاري ومسلم.
ولم يكن تواضع سيّدنا رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم قاصرًا على حياته الشّخصية، بل كان جليًا واضحًا في تعامله مع الآخرين، كان يُخالطهم ويعيش معهم السّرَّاء والضّراء، كان يواسيهم بالقليل والكثير، وكان يتبسَّط معهم، كما يتجلّى في تعامله في اعتنائه بالضعفاء والفقراء وحتّى الصبية وصغار السن.
