لنبتة اللوتس زهرة جميــله من حـيث الرائـحه العطره الزكيــه ومن حيـث الشــكل الجمـيـل, وهي من الـزهور الرئيسيه التي لاغنى عنها في صنع العطور في العصرالحديث لابل تفضل على الورد الطائفي والورد الفرنسي والورد الاسطنبولي,وقد عرف عن الفراعـنه استخدامهم لـزهرة اللوتس في صنع العطور والمكياج واضافتها الى ا لمساحيق المخصصه للحفـاض على الجـسـم ونــظارة البشـره ولان تحـاول جـاهده الشـركـات الاوربــيه المصنـعه للعطور وادواة الزينه في انـتاج المكياج الفرعوني اضافة الى ذلك تستخدم اللوتس في علاج كثيـر من الدواعي الصحيه حيـث يستخدم شـاي جذور اللوتس في حـالات السعال والرشح وتستخدم خارجيا ككمـادات لحالات الحروق الجلدية و داخليا كمضاد للتشنج ومسكن ومقوي ، ولأمراض القلب
