انتخاب الجزائري محمد روراوة لتنفيذية الفيفا

الخرطوم، السودان (cnn) -- عربي آخر ينضم إلى المكتب التنفيذي للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم "الفيفا"، وهذه المرة من الجزائر، حيث تم انتخاب رئيس الاتحاد الجزائري لكرة القدم، محمد روراوة عضواً جديداً في المكتب الاربعاء.
وقالت وكالة الأنباء الجزائرية إن روراوة سيكون عضواً في المكتب التنفيذي للفيفا خلال الفترة 2011-2015، وذلك بعيد فوزه في الانتخابات التي جرت بالعاصمة السودانية الخرطوم على هامش الجمعية العامة الثالثة والثلاثين للكونفديرالية الافريقية لكرة القدم (الكاف)."
وأوضحت الوكالة أن روراوة حصل على 39 صوتاً، بينما حصل منافسه رئيس الاتحاد الإيفواري لكرة القدم، جاك أنوما، على 35 صوتاً.
وهذه هي المرة الاولى في تاريخ كرة القدم الجزائرية، التي ينتخب فيها جزائري لعضوية المكتب التنفيذي للفيفا، ليصبح رابع شخصية عربية في المكتب إلى جانب كل من الاردني، الأمير علي بن الحسين، والقطري محمد همام، والمصري، هاني أبو ريدة.
وكان روراوة قد أعلن في وقت سابق ترشيحه لانتخابات اللجنة التنفيذية لخلافة النيجيري "أموس أمادو" الذي أوقف عن مزاولة مهامه من قبل "الفيفا" يوم 20 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي على خلفية فضيحة تلقي الرشى التي هزت أركان الاتحاد الدولي.
وقال رواروة لـcnn بالعربية إن "ترشحي لانتخابات اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم ما هو إلا تأكيد على رغبتي الكبيرة في مواصلة تمثيل الكرة العربية والأفريقية في أعلى هيئة كروية."
وأضاف "أدرك أن الصراع سيكون صعبا مع داني جوردان، وكويسي نياتيكي والنيجيري إبراهيما غلاديما، ولكن كل ما أتمناه هو أن أجد مساندة ودعم لأصل إلى الفوز بالانتخابات وأنال بذلك شرف تمثيل العرب."
وانتخب رواروة، 65 عاما، رئيسا للاتحاد الجزائري عام 2001 ونجح في إعادة هيكلة كرة القدم الجزائرية بتأهل المنتخب مرتين إلى نهائيات كأس أمم أفريقيا، الأولى سنة 2004 في دورة تونس، والثانية في 2010 بأنغولا، كما قاد الخضر إلى التأهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2010 بجنوب أفريقيا بعد غياب دام 24 سنة كاملة.
