الجيش الأمريكي يفكر في غزو الشواطئ الليبية

تصل بوارج حربية وطائرات عسكرية، في الساعات القادمة، إلى ليبيا، في مهمة ظاهرها إنقاذ الرعايا الأجانب وباطنها تهديد شديد اللهجة للمجنون لحمله على التنحي من الحكم.
أكد مسؤول عسكري أمريكي رفيع أن وزارة الدفاع ''البنتاغون'' تنظر في ''جميع الخيارات'' المحتملة لدعم الرئيس باراك أوباما، في التعامل مع الوضع الراهن.
وقال المصدر: ''وظيفتنا أن نجعل الخيارات متاحة من الجانب العسكري، وهذا ما نفكر فيه في الوقت الراهن''. وتابع قائلا: ''سوف نقوم بتزويد الرئيس بالخيارات التي قد يحتاج إليها''.
وأضاف المسؤول الأمريكي قوله إن الخطط الأولية للخيارات العسكرية المحتملة، والمتاحة أمام الرئيس حالياً، تضع ضمن أولوياتها حماية المواطنين الأمريكيين والمصالح الأمريكية، ووقف العنف ضد المدنيين الليبيين.
ورغم أن المصدر بدا حذرا إزاء التفكير في أن الجيش الأمريكي أصبح ''على مشارف غزو الشواطئ'' الليبية، فقد رفض الكشف صراحة عن طبيعة الدور الذي قد تقوم به القوات العسكرية.
وكان وزير الدفاع الأمريكي، روبرت غيتس، قد اعترف بوجود صعوبات في فرض منطقة حظر جوي فوق ليبيا، داعيا فرنسا وإيطاليا للقيام بهذه المهمة.
وقال غيتس: إن ''الفرنسيين - لا أعرف ماذا يمتلك البريطانيون في المنطقة- لكن الفرنسيين والإيطاليين لديهم وسائل أكثـر للتدخل سريعا من أجل فرض منطقة حظر جوي فوق ليبيا''.
وأعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي عن تجنيد وسائله البحرية العسكرية لإجلاء ستة آلاف رعية أوروبي، يقول إنهم ما يزالون في وضعية خطيرة في ليبيا. ونقلت صحيفة ''القدس العربي'' اللندنية، عن مصدر أوروبي لم تسمه ووصفته بالعليم، قوله: ''إن طائرات حلف الأطلسي قد تطيح بالطائرات الليبية في حالة شن غارات حربية ضد الشعب الليبي، سواء بالتدخل مباشرة في الأجواء الليبية أو عبر صواريخ من سفن حربية غربية ترسو في المياه الدولية قريبا من طرابلس، علاوة على قصف مخازن الأسلحة لتفادي استعمالها ضد المدنيين''.
ويستطرد المصدر أن سفنا حربية غربية قد تكون لجأت إلى التشويش الإلكتروني لمنع عمل الطائرات الحربية الليبية في أفق التدخل إذا استدعت الضرورة.
ويحدث هذا في وقت أعلنت المتحدثة باسم محافظة الإعانة الإنسانية في الاتحاد الأوروبي، كريستالينا جورجيفا، أنه ''يجري البحث عن دعم بحري، بما في ذلك دعم البوارج البحرية الموجودة في المنطقة''.
وقد سارعت اليونان فعلا لإرسال فرقاطة، وقال وزير الدفاع في أثينا إن الفرقاطة ''زارة'' جاهزة لتدخل عسكري في حال الضرورة وهي على بعد 200 كلم من السواحل الليبية.
