بقدر ما يعتبر التأريخ للأحداث أداة العبر ومنطلق للتصورات المستقبلية، بقدر ما هو محطة لذكر السلف والاعتزاز بالأصول ومحاسن الماضي وما من محطة إلا ونجد عليها بصمات للعلماء المثقفين والادباء والمفكرين...اليوم وبمناسبة ميلاده نتصفح عالم الطبيب المرحوم "وجيه البارودي" الرحب برحابة صدره الواسع كسعة أفقه، الشامل شمولية معرفته ، المعشوق قدر عشقه للشعر والفن والجمال.
. ولد الدكتور الشاعر وجيه البارودي في 01 مارس عام1906م بمدينة حماة السورية ضمن اسرة ميسورة لأسرة ، مما ساعده على دراسة الطب في الجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت، ليتخرج منها طبيبا عام 1932م وقد وجد البارودي في بيروت، فضاء رحبا للتحليق بشعره ومشاعره، وقدراته العلمية.
ما جعل من الرجل الحكيم الإنسان، والشاعر الفنان ،والناقد الواعي والجريء المقدام ،والعاشق العُمري المولع بمزايا الجمال، ليكون بحق شاهد على القرن العشرين من عقده الأولمن"1906م إلى عقده الأخير 1996م".
رغم موهبته الشعرية و شاعريته الفذة، المتميزة بجزالة وروعة ألفاظه وتنوع مواضيعه، إلا أنه كان مقلا في شعره رغم العمره الطويل الذي قارب التسعين عاما وهو ماحد من شهرته في محيطه العربي، وذلك يعود للعلاقة الوثيقة بمهنة الطب التي ظل يمارسها حتى وفاته عام 1996م أولا ولم تكن مهنة الطب وحدها هي عائقه، إنما علاقته الجدلية الوثيقة والحميمية بمجتمعه بسلبياتها و إيجابيات ها كان لها دور كبيرا، انتقادات كثيرة وجهت له في حياته بسبب فضويته الشعرية وأطواره الشخصية كما يراها منتقدوه ، لكن الجانب الآخر من تركيبته صنعت له مكانة رفيعة ومميزة عند فقراء مدينة حماة مسقط راسه ، حيث، كان ساعدهم ووقف بجانب مرضاهم ، إذ كان يخصص لهم يوما في الأسبوع يعالجهم فيه مجانا، زيادة عن قيامه المستمر بزيارة أحيائهم لتقديم المساعدة والعلاج والرعاية لهم.
رغم كل ذلك فقد ترك وجيه البارودي ثلاثة دواوين هي:
01" بيني وبين الغواني -الصادر عام 1950م"
02"كذا أنا عام 1971م"
03، "سيد العشاق- صدر عام 1994م ، أي قبل وفاته بعامين".
وقد كون مع الأديب والمفكر اللبناني عمر فرّوخ والشاعر الفلسطيني إبراهيم طوقان والشاعر العراقي حافظ جميل جمعيّة أسموها دار الندوة عام1926م،فسبكت في هذه البوثقة البداية الحقيقية ناضجة لتجربته الشعرية.
وفي هذا التناقض الكبير بين الشاعر المتمرد، والطبيب الإنساني الرؤوم، تحول إلى شخصية شعبية محببة نسجت حولها وعلى لسانها الكثير من القصص والحكايات، وقد عبر بذلك عن نفسه قائلا:
* حكيم خبرتي التسعون عاماً ومدرستي التجارب و العلوم .
*مررت أمس على العافين أسألهم ما تبتغون؟ أجابوا: الخبز والماء
ومرَ بي مترفُ يشكو, فقلت له مما اشتكيت؟ أجاب: العيش أعباء.
و رغم ما كان بين "وجيه" و"حماة" من مساجلات ومناقرات ومهاترات أحيانا لم يبخل في مديحها، وعلى الرغم مما لاقاه منها ومن شعبها تبقى بلده ومسقط رأسه ويبقى العاشق لها ومرتع طفولته، فقال في ذلك:
*وفي حماة مقيم لا أغادرها00شاطئ البحر عندي ضفة النهر
فيها النواعير والعاصي و00شاعرها ثلاثة ميّزتنا حكمة القدر
ومن مفارقات الدكتور "وجيه" جمال طرائقه منها ما ذكره الأستاذ قال، قال الدكتور "وجيه" واصفاً نفسه: أنا أقدم طبيب في حماة- وأقدم سائق في حماة- وأقدم شاعريها- وأتعس عاشق"
وحين أتى إليه ابن عمه يطلب منه بعض أبيات الشعر في رثاء عمه المتوفى فطلب الدكتور "وجيه" مهلة ليكتب له الرثاء، ولكنه لم يفعل الا في اليوم الثالث وبعد إلحاح ابن عمه كتب له هذه الأبيات قائلاً:
تُكلفني حزناً ونفسي طروبة00وروحي تأباه وأنت تريد
وهل يألف الأحزان من كان00 عاشقاً تجود له أحبابه ويجود
فلا ترجو مني وصف حزن لأنني00 طروب والعهد بالبكاء بعيد.
هذه صورة جد مختصرة عن الطبيب الشاعر الذي سيبقي ذكره في كل مكان وزمان معلناً من خلال أعماله الانسانية ومنجزات نضاله الاجتماعي وشعره العذب.
إن تقييم الرجال حسب اعتقادي معياره قيمة ما ينتجون وما ينتهجونه من سبل.
