سيف الإسلام متهم بتزويرأطروحة الدكتوراه

ذكرت صحيفة تايمز البريطانية أن كلية لندن للاقتصاد بصدد إجراء تحقيقات في اتهامات بشأن تزوير سيف الإسلام القذافي أطروحة الدكتوراه التي تقدم بها إلى الكلية، واحتمال تضمنها نصوصا مسروقة من أشخاص آخرين.
وتسعى الكلية للتحقيق في صحة اتهامات بشأن غش سيف الإسلام أثناء إعداده أطروحة رسالة الدكتواره التي ناقشت الديمقراطية في المجتمع المدني، من خلال تضمينها أفكارا ونصوصا لآخرين وتقديمها وكأنها من تأليفه.
كما يناقش مجلس الكلية مصير مبلغ 300 ألف جنيه إسترليني قدمها سيف الإسلام منحة للكلية كجزء من 1.5% مبلغ مليون جنيه تعهد بتقديمه للكلية بعد منحه درجة الدكتوراه عام 2008. وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن قرار فتح تحقيقات رسمية بشأن المزاعم التي تتهم سيف الإسلام بالغش من شأنه أن يتسبب بالحرج للاقتصادي الشهير اللورد ديساي الذي كان مسؤولا عن اختبار سيف الإسلام قبل منح الأخير درجة الدكتوراه.
ونسبت تايمز إلى باحثين زعمهم أن أطروحة سيف الإسلام لنيل درجة الدكتوراه المكونة من 429 صفحة تتضمن ما لا يقل عن 12 نصا مسروقا، وأنه تم نسخ تلك النصوص تقريبا الكلمة تلو الأخرى دون تفويض من أصحابها الأصليين أو حتى الإشارة إليهم.
كما أن كلية لندن للاقتصاد أعلنت عن قطع علاقاتها بسيف الإسلام، وعن إيقافها برنامج دراسات حول شمال أفريقيا تم استحداثها بفضل المنحة المالية التي قدمتها المؤسسة الخيرية التابعة لنجل مجنون ليبيا ،وكذلك إيقاف برنامج لتدريب موظفين ليبيين. وتأتي كل تلك التطورات من جانب كلية الاقتصاد البريطانية في أعقاب خطاب سيف الإسلام الذي هدد فيه أبناء الشعب الليبي، قائلا إن النظام الليبي سيدافع عن نفسه حتى آخر رجل وأخر طلقة.
