سيف الإجرام: حان وقت التصعيد

قال سيف الإجرام نجل مجنون ليبيا إن الوقت حان للتصعيد العسكري الكامل ضد الثوار الليبيين، وإنه لا مجال للتفاوض معهم. في حين تعهدت المعارضة بمواصلة القتال ضد حكم المجنون حتى دون فرض حظر جوي عليه.

ونقلت وكالة رويترز للأنباء عن سيف الإجرام قوله -في مقابلة معه- إن النظام الليبي يعد لتحرك عسكري شامل "لسحق التمرد"، وإنه لن يستسلم حتى ولو تدخلت القوى الغربية في الصراع.

وأضاف أنه "حان وقت التحرير، حان وقت التحرك، نحن نتحرك الآن". ولدى سؤاله عما إذا كان النظام يعد لتصعيد حملته العسكرية، رد قائلا "فات الوقت الآن، حان وقت التحرك. أعطيناهم أسبوعين (للتفاوض)".

ووصف سيف الإجرام المعارضين المطالبين برحيل حكم والده الممتد لنحو 42 عاما بأنهم "إرهابيون وعصابات مسلحة"، وقال إن آلاف الليبيين تطوعوا لمحاربتهم.

ومن جهتها تعهدت المعارضة المسلحة في ليبيا بمواصلة القتال ضد حكم مجنون ليبيا حتى دون منطقة حظر جوي، وهو ما كانت تطالب به المجتمع الدولي.

وقالت مسؤولة الإعلام في تحالف 17 فيفري للصحفيين في بنغازي "إذا فرضوا منطقة حظر جوي فستكون لنا مطالب أخرى، وإذا لم يطبقوها فإننا سنواصل القتال".

وأضافت "لا تراجع بالنسبة لنا. هذا البلد لن يتحملنا معا، إما نحن أو عائلته (القذافي)، بعد ما حدث في الزاوية (المحاصرة) كيف يمكننا أن نعيش مع هذا الشخص".

في هذه الأثناء، قال مدير المخابرات الوطنية الأميركية جيمس كلابر إن مجنون ليبيا"يتشبث بموقعه"، وإن قواته المسلحة بشكل أفضل ستنتصر في النهاية.

وأضاف كلابر -أمام لجنة في مجلس الشيوخ الخميس- أن الترسانة الكبيرة من الأسلحة الروسية لدى ليبيا -بما في ذلك 31 موقعا لصواريخ أرض/جو وأنظمة رادار- تعني أن القوات المواليةللمجنون مسلحة بشكل أفضل، ولديها المزيد من الموارد اللوجستية، و"على أمد أطول سينتصر النظام".

وتابع "بنية الدفاع الجوي الليبي على الأرض والرادارات والصواريخ أرض/جو كبيرة للغاية"، لكنه اعترف بأن بعض تلك الأسلحة وقع في أيدي المعارضة.
