إنفاق الدفاع العربي

تشير الإحصاءات إلى أن العرب يشترون كل عام، أسلحة من الغرب، بأكثر من مائة مليار دولار، دون أن نعرف حتى الآن، من المستفيد فعلا من هذا السلاح؟ هل تشتريه الأنظمة العربية لتحرير فلسطين والدفاع عن الأراضي العربية، كما يدعون في خطاباتهم، أم استعدادا لمواجهة مقبلة ‬مع ‬إيران؟ ‬أم ‬لمواجهات ‬عربية ‬عربية؟ ‬أم ‬أن ‬هذا ‬السلاح ‬يأتي ‬إنقاذا ‬لاقتصاديات ‬الدول ‬الغربية ‬ومصانعها ‬مقابل ‬الحفاظ ‬على ‬استمرار ‬بعض ‬هذه ‬الأنظمة ‬العربية؟ ‬
إنفاق الدفاع العربي وصل في عام 2009، إلى 105 مليارات دولار ووفق تقرير للجنة الأبحاث في الكونغرس الأميركي، فإن الخليج كان أكثر المستوردين تتصدره المملكة العربية السعودية التي وصلت نفقاتها العسكرية إلى نحو أربعين مليار دولار، ثم الإمارات التي استوردت عام 2008 فقط نحو 6 بالمائة، من مبيعات السلاح في العالم، وأما العراق وفق مصادر إعلامية أمريكية فقد استورد بعد سقوط بغداد أسلحة بأكثر من عشرين مليار دولار، بينما ضجت الكويت قبل فترة، بنقاش حاد حول صفقة طائرات "رافال" الفرنسية، واللافت وفق تقرير الكونغرس الأميركي أن المملكة المغربية كانت ثالثة الدول العربية شراء للأسلحة من أمريكا في السنوات الماضية. وتقول إحصاءات من جامعة أوكسفورد إن بعض دول الخليج على غرار سلطنة عمان في خلال عشر سنوات زادت ميزانيتها العسكرية بأكثر من 100 ٪، والبحرين بنحو 80 ٪، وهما بلدان خليجيان، يشهدان نوعا من الثورة، أو تململا شعبيا لم يكن في الحسبان، وكذلك الأردن ولبنان، ناهيك عن سوريا واليمن اللتين زادتا انفاقهما في الفترة نفسها بنحو 40 ٪، أو 50 ٪، وإذا ما أدركنا أن أمريكا صدرت عام 2008 أكثر من ثلثي مبيعات السلاح في العالم، وأن العرب كانوا أكثر مستوردي سلاحها، فالسؤال يطرح حول الهدف من هذه الصفقات، دعم الاقتصاد الأمريكي أم التحضير لحرب مقبلة مع إيران؟ خصوصا مع استبعاد نظرية المواجهة مع إسرائيل التي دكت غزة دكا، ولم يتدخل أحد من العرب "المغاوير المسلحين"!
