كنت وحدي الى آخر الليل حين رأيت وجه القيامة في ربعه الأخير ،
وكنت القاتل والقتيل
أخترت ألا أركب الزورق ، والوجوه مشرعة على كل الإحتمالات من حواليك ،
فباغتني بريق عينيك والمواويل
تلاشت ظلمة العمر
وابتسمت حين رأيت نهر هواك يأخذني في طريقه اليك
كم كنت سخية يوم تبرعت بكل ما لديك ،
كانت قصور غرناطة ماثلة أمامي ،
وعطر الشرق يتبعني ،وسرب أوهام
كم من مرة حاولت ،،،
حاولت الهرب من الخطيئة ،
ومن المشيئة
لكن…
وأنا على مهل
رأيت خيالا على صفح الماء ،
ما فتئ أن تصور حتى تبخر ،
وسمعت ابتهالات ،ودعاء ،
وود حبيب أبدا لم يتصور
ووصلني خبر عاجل
يا هارب من الموت إلى الموت تمهل ،
لا زال زمن الحيرة يتوعدك بالمزيد ،
تتشابه الشوارع في عينيك ،ومن المحتمل أن تضيع
يا داخل مدينتها عنوة لا تسأل ،
هذا شارعها بالأسى يعبرك ،
وذاك وجه طفلة لم يعرف الكذب ،
ويا كاتب تاريخ مدينتها أكتب ،
كل الذين سبقوك في الهوى قتلوا
الا أنت أبدا لن تقتل…
