“قائد المعارضة الليبية الجديد من صناعة الاستخبارات الأمريكية”


قالت عدد من الصحف الأمريكية، إن خليفة هفتر الزعيم الجديد للمعارضة العسكرية في ليبيا قضى حوالي عشرين سنة في ولاية فرجينيا الأمريكية، يتدرب هناك قبل أن يلتحق بصفة زعيم لقوات المجلس العسكري الليبي المعارض للعقيد معمر القذافي

وأوضح موقع “ماك كلاتشي” الأمريكي، أنه استقى معلوماته حول حياة خليفة، من أشخاص يقطنون فرجينيا قالوا إن لهم علاقة قوية تربطهم بخليفة. ونقل موقع “ميامي هيلرد” الأمريكي المهتم بالشؤون السياسية، الخبر ذاته، وقال إن خليفة تم تعيينه الأسبوع الماضي لقيادة الجناح العسكري المناوئ للعقيد القذافي، و قال الموقع: “خليفة هفتر هو ضابط عسكري سابق في جيش القذافي، لكنه انشق عن العقيد أواخر سنة 1980 بعد المغامرة العسكرية المأساوية في تشاد في أواخر 1980، وتحول خليفة على أثرها من مساعد للقذافي إلى معارض له تحديدا سنة 1990”. وحسب تقارير الصحف الأمريكية فإن خليفة يكون قد انتقل في ذلك التاريخ إلى ولاية فرجينيا؛ حيث أسس حياته الخاصة هناك قائمة على علاقات قوية بالجماعات المعارضة للقذافي.
أواخر الأسبوع الماضي، تم تعيين هفتر لقيادة جيش المتمردين، الذي كان في حالة من الفوضى لعدة أسابيع، وهو الزعيم الثالث من نوعه في أقل من شهر، ومقابلات مع المتمردين في ليبيا وأعرب علنا عن عدم الثقة زعيم آخر، عبد الفتاح يونس، الذي كان إلى جانب القذافي حتى قبل شهر واحد فقط. من جهة ثانية، كان المجلس العسكري لثوار بنغازي قد أعلن في مؤتمر صحفي، الخميس الماضي، أن هفتر سيعمل مع القائد عبد السلام يونس وزير الداخلية السابق المنشق على القذافي، في مجلس القيادة العسكرية جناح المعارضة الليبية.
ونقل التقرير على لسان أحد المعارضين للقذافي، أن هفتر يعد أحد المعارضين للقذافي وقال المعرض: “خليفة لديه ضغينة شخصية ضد القذافي. وكان حلم الإطاحة بالقذافي هدف حياته”.
