ووصف الفلاح ناينج قصة عثوره على

الوليد بالقول "كنت أرعى غنمى فرأيت نعجة تلعق حملا وضعته للتو إذ كان لا يزال داخل مشيمته، وعندما ذهبت لإلقاء نظرة على هذا الحمل الوليد بدا منظره غير مألوف على الإطلاق وأن شيئا ما فيه ليس فى مكانه الصحيح".

ومضى قائلا "عندما أمعنت فيه النظر صُدمت، لأننى كنت أنظر إلى جرو وليس إلى حمل، تملكنى الخوف لغرابة ما رأيت، فأنا أعيش فى هذه المزرعة منذ 20 عاما وهذه المرة الأولى التى أشاهد فيها نعجة تضع حملا لا علاقة له بالحملان غير صوفه وكل شيء آخر فيه يقول إنه جرو فمه وأنفه وكفوفه وذيله تحمل صفات الكلاب، لم أر مخلوقا كهذا من قبل".

وعلق الطبيب يو قوزانج من مركز تكنولوجيا رعاية الحيوانات فى بكين قائلا "الخراف والكلاب فصيلتان مختلفتان، ولا يمكن لنعجة أن تلد جروا، كل ما فى الأمر هو أن هذا المخلوق حمل غير عادى لأنه لا يشبه فصيلته كثيرا لكنه يبقى حملا فى نهاية المطاف إذ خرج من رحم نعجة".

وأضاف، رغم استحالة الأمر من الناحية العلمية، إلا أننى أعتقد أن ما حدث هو شيء خارج عن العادة، وليس ثمة تفسير لتلك الظاهرة سوى أنها معجزة.
