إسرائيل تخطط لإنشاء "جزيرة اصطناعية" للتخلص من غزة

تدرس إسرائيل إمكانية بناء جزيرة صناعية في قطاع غزة مع ميناء ومطار، "حتى لا تبقى مسؤولة عن التبادل التجاري في هذه المنطقة"، من أجل اتخاذ مبادرة "فتح أفق سياسي".

وقال وزير المواصلات الإسرائيلية ياكوف كاتس للإذاعة العسكرية، الأربعاء 30-3-2011 إن "هذا المشروع يهدف إلى انفصال كامل عن قطاع غزة. فبينما تستمر إسرائيل اليوم في أن تكون مسؤولة عن التجارة في المنطقة لا يسمح بإنشاء ميناء أو مطار".

ويعد مطار غزة الواقع بالقرب من رفح جنوب قطاع غزة والذي دشن في 1998 غير قادر على العمل بعد أن دمر الجيش الإسرائيلي جزءاً كبيراً منه في 2001.

وأضاف كاتس "أبحث عن حل يسمح لنا بقطع كل العلاقات مع غزة مع الحفاظ على سيطرتنا على أمننا من خلال البحر من خلال الحصار الضروري من أجل منع تجارة الأسلحة".

وتابع الوزير الإسرائيلي أن "قوة دولية ستسيطر على الجزيرة التي ستبنى على بعد 4.5 كيلومترات من ساحل غزة". وقال "بإمكان السلطة الفلسطينية أن تكون شريكة في هذا المشروع"، مؤكداً أن رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتانياهو طلب منه تحضير خطة.

وأضاف كاتس "وصلنا إلى المرحلة التي يجب على رئيس الوزراء أن يعطي الضوء الأخضر النهائي".

وعلى الساحة الدبلوماسية قدر الوزير أن خطته ستسمح "لإسرائيل بأخذ مبادرة والحصول على الدعم الدولي وفتح أفق سياسي حول موضوع قطاع غزة الرئيسي دون الاعتماد على حماس".

وكانت القناة الإسرائيلية الثانية الخاصة قالت الثلاثاء إن الجزيرة الصناعية ستمتد بطول أربعة كيلومترات وعرض كيلومترين، ومن الممكن أن تستوعب مطاراً وميناء ومنطقة سياحية وفنادق ووحدة لتحلية مياه البحر.

وأضاف أن الجزيرة ستكون مرتبطة مع البر في قطاع غزة عن طريق جسر طوله أربعة كيلومترات وستقدر التكلفة بما بين خمسة وعشرة مليارات دولار بحسب الخيارات التي تم اختيارها.

وأوضح أن العمل سيستغرق فيها بين ست وعشر سنوات.
