و كانت الجزائر ممثلة بكل من محمد لعزازي و امين بلقاضي (ذكور), و شاهيناز بوغادوم و اسلام العيد و كاتيا قساسي (اناث).
" هذه النتائج مشجعة للاعبينا الذين سيدخولون ابتداء من اليوم الثلاثاء منافسات البطولات الافريقية التي نملك حظوظ كبيرة للصعود خلالها على منصة
التتويج", يقول نائب رئيس الاتحادية الجزائرية لتنس الطاولة, الياس خنيش, الذي يرأس الفد الجزائري, في تصريح له.
و حسب التقنيين, فان هذه الدورة التي تندرج في اطار تصنيف الاتحاد الدولي لتنس الطاولة,"جد مفيدة للرياضيين المشاركين فيها, كونها تضعهم في جو المنافسة و التأقلم مع محيط الحدث قبل خوض منافسات البطولة الافريقية".
و ستكون الجزائر ممثلة في البطولات الافريقية للفئات الشابة بثمانية عناصر, ثلاثة منهم من فئة الاشبال (1 ذكور و 2 اناث), و خمسة من فئة الاواسط (2ذكور و3اناث), تحت قيادة المدربين سليم حماني (شبلات), و مصطفى بلحسن (وسطيات), و حسين ربعي (أواسط).
" الهدف المسطر لممثلينا واضح. نحن نهدف الى انتزاع ميدالية ذهبية في فئة الاشبال, و هو اللقب الذي نسعى الى تحقيقه منذ 15 سنة, و الصعود فوق منصة التتويج في فئة الاواسط, فيما حدد الدور النهائي كهدف للوسطيات". يقول المدير الفني الوطني, منير بسه, في تصريح له.

و اللاعبوين المختارون للمشاركة في هذه البطولة هم:

أشبال: يانيس دويفي
شبلات: نوكيديا قساسي و ليندة لغرايبي
أواسط: محمد لعزيزي و أمين بلقاضي
وسطيات: شهيناز بوغدوم, اسلام العيد و كاتيا قساسي.
