توج، الجمعة، نادي لخويا القطري لأول مرة في تاريخه بلقب دوري نجوم قطر، عقب فوزه على نادي أم صلال بثلاثية نظيفة برسم الجولة ما قبل الأخيرة من الدوري، حاسما تتويجه دون انتظار لقاء الجولة الأخيرة، حيث رفع رصيده النقطي إلى حدود 48 نقطة بعيدا عن ملاحقه المباشر الغرافة بثماني نقاط.


وتحقق تتويج لخويا بفضل المدرب الجزائري جمال بلماضي في أول تجربة له كمدرب، مفجرا مفاجأة من العيار الثقيل لقيادته لنادي لخويا الصاعد هذا الموسم إلى دوري نجوم القطري لتتويج تاريخي لم يسبق أليه أي فريق قطري آخر، حيث لم يحدث وأن توج صاعد جديد بلقب البطولة عبر تاريخ الكرة القطرية .
