علماء أمريكيون يثبتون مقولة "تفاحة يومياً تغنيك عن الطبيب"

أكد علماء أمريكيون صحة المقولة الإنجليزية الشهيرة التي مفادها "تفاحة يومياً تغنيك عن زيارة الطبيب" حيث تبين لهم أن التفاح يحتوي على مادة قوية لمنع ترسب الكلوسترول.

وأشار باهرام أريماندي ومارجريت سيتون من جامعة ولاية فلوريدا في دراستهما التي استمرت عاما إلى أن تناول النساء للتفاح أدى إلى تراجع نسبة الكلوسترول لديهن بمقدار الربع تقريبا.

واعتبر الباحثان التفاح بمثابة "الفاكهة المعجزة".

وحصلت 160 امرأة في سن 45 إلى 65 عاما على 75 غراما من الفاكهة المجففة يوميا، سواء تفاح أو برقوق، ثم حللا الدم لديهن بعد ثلاثة وستة ثم 12 شهرا فوجدا تراجع نسبة كولسترول "ال دي ال" الذي يعرف بالكولسترول السيء وذلك بعد نصف عام لدى النساء اللاتي حصلن على التفاح.

ويعتقد العلماء بأن هذا الكولسترول يؤدي إلى الإصابة بتصلب الشرايين أو الزهايمر.

كما رصد الباحثون أثرا جانبيا آخر لتناول التفاح بشكل منتظم حيث تبين لهم أن تناول 240 وحدة كربوهيدرات ضمن التفاح المجفف يؤدي إلى تراجع وزن النساء بواقع 1.5 كيلوغرام في المتوسط في منطق الأرداف، ورجحوا أن يكون ذلك بسبب بكتيناته التي تمنح الجسم تشبعا أكثر من العديد من المواد الغذائية الأخرى.

ويبلغ متوسط وزن التفاحة الواحدة في العادة 150 إلى 200 غراما وتناولت النساء 75 غراما فقط يوميا، ولكن بشكل مجفف.
