تقنية الـ''كاربوكسيتيرابي'' لإنقاذ مرضى داء السكري من بتر أرجلهم

يعتبر داء قرحة القدم السكري من أخطر الأمراض التي تصيب مرضى السكري، ويتمثـل المرض في فقدان المريض للإحساس بقدمه، ويصبح بذلك هذا العضو عرضة لمختلف الإصابات والأمراض، ليكون مصيره البتر في أغلب الأحيان، رغم وجود بدائل تغني عن قطع الرجل.
يلجأ الأطباء عند تطور المرض إلى بتر القدم خوفا من انتقال العدوى إلى باقي أجزاء الجسم، في حين توجد تقنية بسيطة وغير مكلفة يمكن من خلالها تفادي اللجوء إلى بتر القدم، وتسمى العلاج عن طريق ''كاربوكسيتيرابي''، أي ''طريقة الحقن بالأوكسجين'' إنها تقنية علاجية جديدة ، علما أن مرض السكري هو مرض قاتل، وأن نسبة 10 بالمائة من المصابين به يموتون عندما تبتر قدمهم.
وتعتمد هذه التقنية على حقن الجزء المصاب من القدم بالأوكسجين، وهي طريقة جد سهلة وغير مكلفة يمكن أن تمارس من طرف أي طبيب وفي أي مؤسسة صحية، وليست لها أية مضاعفات على صحة المريض بل بالعكس.
فبفضل هذه العملية، يستطيع المريض أن يحافظ على قدمه التي كانت ستبتر، وقد يفقد حياته معها .
وقد اكتشفت هذه التقنية منذ أكثـر من 80 سنة، وهي مستعملة في 30 دولة، وتوجد مئات الكتب والمراجع التي تتحدث عن هذه التقنية.
وعن طريقة العلاج، يتم أولا معالجة الجرح بالمضادات الحيوية كعلاج موضعي، ثـم يبدأ العلاج بحقن الغاز في المكان المصاب لإعادة فتح الشرايين وتنشيط الخلايا التي فقدت الإحساس، لأن المرض ينتج أساسا عن فقدان المريض بداء السكري للإحساس بقدمه، مما يجعلها عرضة لمختلف الإصابات. أما المرحلة الأخيرة في العلاج، فتتمثـل في إعادة الإحساس للقدم. وبالنسبة للغاز المستعمل، فهو عبارة عن ثـاني أكسيد الكربون المعقم ويتم إنتاجه بنفس التقنية تقريبا التي ينتج بها الغاز المستعمل في المشروبات الغازية، ولا تتجاوز مدة العلاج في العيادة 10 دقائق للحصة الواحدة، ولا تستدعي دخول المريض إلى المستشفى، ليكمل المريض عملية الاعتناء بالجرح في منزله، وتدوم مدة العلاج من شهر إلى شهر ونصف.
