لا احد منا ينكر أن مجتمعنا الحالي له نظرة مادية .. فإذا كنت تلبس أغلى الماركات و تركب سيارة فخمة وتملك فيلا لقيت الاحترام و المجاملات الغير منتهية و كل الاهتمام والعكس صحيح .. لغينا الأخلاق والتربية و الأصل من قاموس الاحترام فتراه عديم الأخلاق يتلقى الاحترام فقط لأن جيبه ثقيل .. وهذه الظاهرة تولدت منها عدة ظواهر تفشت في مجتمعنا في العشرية الأخيرة.. نذكر منها:

ظاهرة العنوسة:
الفتاة لا تقبل الزواج إلا من هو غني فالخاطب قدو قد روحو مرفوض و الشهار مرفوض .. فتقضي ربيعها عمرها تبحث عنه حتى تجد قطار الزواج فاتها

ظاهرة تجارةالمخدرات و التهريب:
الشاب حتى يكسب سيارة فاخرة يتباهى بها و فيلا كي تقبل به فتاة أحلامه يلتجأ الى الطرق الغير مشروعة للربح السريع فيستيقظ من حلمه وهو خلف القضبان

ظاهرة الحراقة:
حين توصد جميع الأبواب في وجه الشاب وبعد زواج فتاة أحلامه من شاب ثري .. أو حين يفقد ثقته بنفسه من النظرة الناقصة له لأن جيبه فارغ يلجأ الى الحراقة التي تكوت عواقبها وخيمة في أحسن الأحوال يلقى عليه القبض عند المغادرة .. و في أسوأ الأحوال يفقد حياته.
