وفي تصريح له للإذاعة الجزائرية قال العروم، الذي عين مؤقتا علي رأس المديرية الفنية الوطنية خلفا لفضيل تيكانوين المقال من منصبه: "أعمل مؤقتا في هذا المنصب، لكني سأبذل قصارى جهدي لتحقيق هذا المشروع".
