اتهام سفاح ليبيا باستخدام القنابل العنقودية
اتهمت منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش القوات الموالية لسفاح ليبيا باستخدام قنابل عنقودية في مدينة مصراتة التي يسيطر عليها الثوار الليبيون.
وقالت المنظمة في بيان لها إن القوات الحكومية أطلقت قنابل عنقودية على مناطق سكنية في مدينة مصراتة, "معرضة المدنيين لخطر جسيم".
وأضافت أنها لاحظت انفجار ثلاث من هذه القنابل في حي الشواهدة في المدينة، موضحة أن باحثين فحصوا بقايا قنبلة عنقودية, وأجروا مقابلات مع شهود على هجومين آخرين بقنابل عنقودية كما يبدو.
وقال مدير قسم الأسلحة بالمنظمة ستيف جوس "من المروع أن تستخدم ليبيا مثل هذا السلاح"، مضيفا أن هذه القنابل "تعرض المدنيين لخطر جسيم وقت الهجمات بسبب طبيعتها العشوائية، وبعد الهجمات بسبب القنابل المتناثرة التي لم تنفجر وما زالت تشكل خطرا".
ولكن حكومة السفاح نفت استخدام هذه القنابل، وقال المتحدث باسمها موسى إبراهيم "أتحداهم أن يثبتوها".
وقال إن الدليل على استخدام مثل هذه القنابل يبقى لأيام وأسابيع، وإن الحكومة الليبية تعرف أن المجتمع الدولي سيأتي إلى ليبيا بشكل كبير قريبا ومن ثم فلا يمكنها أن تفعل ذلك.
يشار إلى أن القنابل العنقودية يمكن أن تطلق من مدافع أو صواريخ فتنثر قنابل صغيرة في منطقة شاسعة، وهي غالبا لا تنفجر على الفور، وربما تنفجر بعد انتهاء الصراع لتقتل أو تبتر الأطراف.
