تأهل مانشستر سيتي الى نهائي
كأس الاتحاد الانجليزي لكرة القدم للمرة الاولى منذ عام 1981 بعد فوزه على
جاره وغريمه مانشستر يونايتد 1-صفر في مباراة قمة المدينة باستاد ويمبلي
اللندني يوم السبت.
وأحرز
يايا توري لاعب منتخب ساحل العاج هدف المباراة الوحيد بعد مجهود فردي في
الدقيقة 52 من زمن مباراة الدور قبل النهائي.
وأنهى يونايتد الذي تأثر بغياب نجمه
وين روني بسبب الايقاف المباراة بعشرة لاعبين بعد طرد المخضرم بول سكولز
بسبب تعديه على بابلو زاباليتا مدافع سيتي في الدقيقة 72.
وبدد سيتي بهذا الفوز امال يونايتد
في تكرار انجاز عام 1999 بالفوز بثلاثية من الالقاب اذ يتصدر يونايتد
الدوري الانجليزي كما بلغ الدور قبل النهائي لدوري أبطال اوروبا.

وسيلعب سيتي يوم 14 ماي
المقبل في نهائي كأس الاتحاد الانجليزي أمام بولتون واندرارز أو ستوك سيتي.

وبدأ يونايتد
المباراة بشكل أفضل وكان قريبا من التقدم عن طريق ديميتار برباتوف في
الدقيقة 15 بعدما أهدر المهاجم البلغاري فرصتين.
وتوترت الاجواء بعد نهاية اللقاء
عندما ادى خلاف بين ماريو بالوتيلي مهاجم سيتي واندرسون لاعب وسط يونايتد
الى محاولة من ريو فرديناند لاعب يونايتد للاعتداء على بالوتيلي قبل ان
يتدخل زملاؤه في الفريق لاحتواء الموقف.
وكان يونايتد مرشحا للفوز بالمباراة
لكنه كان في حاجة للتعامل مع غياب روني بينما افتقد سيتي جهود القائد
كارلوس تيفيز أحد أخطر لاعبيه بعد اصابته في المباراة الماضية التي انتهت
بالخسارة أمام ليفربول 3-صفر في الدوري يوم الاثنين الماضي.
وسنحت فرصة خطيرة ليونايتد عندما
تبادل مايكل كاريك وسكولز وبارك جي سونج الكرة قبل أن تصل الى برباتوف الذي
سددها لكن الحارس جو هارت تصدى لها.
وبعد مرور عشرين ثانية أهدر برباتوف فرصة اخرى من مدى
قريب بعد كرة عرضية متقنة من البرتغالي ناني.
ولم يكن سيتي مؤثرا في أول 25 دقيقة
اذ سيطر يونايتد على وسط الملعب تماما بفضل بارك وسكولز وناني وانطونيو
فالنسيا.
لكن
السيطرة بدأت تنتقل تدريجيا الى سيتي الذي أنهى الشوط الاول وهو الطرف
الافضل.
وسدد جاريث
باري كرة قوية اصطدمت بالشباك الخارجية لمرمى يونايتد في الدقيقة 32.

وبعد دقيقتين سدد بالوتيلي كرة
من نحو 35 مترا تصدى لها الحارس ادوين فان دير سار ببراعة قبل أن يسدد
جوليون ليسكوت كرة مرت فوق العارضة.
وجاء هدف المباراة الوحيد بعدما شتت فان دير سار الكرة
بشكل سيء ليرتكب كاريك خطأ في تمريرها ويتمكن توري من السيطرة على الكرة
قبل أن يتجه بقوة نحو مرمى يونايتد ويراوغ نيمانيا فيديتش ويضعها في
المرمى.
وواصل سيتي
سيطرته على المباراة وكاد أن يضيف أكثر من هدف خاصة بعد طرد سكولز.

وعانى يونايتد لخلق فرص ولم
يتمكن من مجاراة سيتي باستثناء كرة خطيرة من ركلة حرة سددها ناني.

واحتفل لاعبو سيتي لفترة طويلة
بعد المباراة مع الجماهير بعد الفوز على الغريم التقليدي والتأهل للمباراة
