أفادت تقارير صحافية أنّ مساعد وزير الخارجية عمران بوكراع الذي زار تونس يوم الأربعاء الماضي قد أخفق في إنجاز صفقة لشراء 583 سيارة رباعية الدفع ونقلها إلى ليبيا عبر تونس. ونُقل عن عادل دباشي الرجل الثاني

في السفارة الليبية في تونس التي انضم طاقمها للثوار \"إن الوفد قام باتصالات مع وكالات شركات عالمية من بينها فورد وتويوتا لاقتناء مئات السيارات، لكن الجمارك التونسية امتنعت عن الترخيص بإخراج السيارات، التي تحتاجها كتائب القذافي الأمنية لنقل رجالها من دون أن ترصدها طائرات التحالف، من تونس\".

يُذكر أنّ وفدًا تجاريًا ليبيًا قام بزيارة تونس والاتصال بمركز النهوض بالصادرات قصد تحريك عملية التوريد، خاصّة بعد القرار الليبي الأخير بفتح الحدود أمام التونسيين يندرج في إطار مزيد دفع الحركية التجارية والاعتماد على العمالة التونسية في هذا الظرف.

وقد سجّلت الصادرات التونسية باتجاه ليبيا، خلال الثلاثية الأولى من العام الحالي، تراجعا بنسبة 34.6 % مقارنة بنفس الفترة من العام الماضي. وبلغت قيمة الصادارت التونسية خلال شهري جانفي وفيفري الماضيين حوالي 80 مليون دولارا، مقابل 100 مليون دولارًا في الفترة نفسها من عام 2010. وتوقفت الصادارت التونسية باتجاه ليبيا يوم 20 فبراير الماضي، لكنها عادت بنسق بطيء جدا يوم 3 مارس 2011. وتنفيذا لقرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي قررت الحكومة التونسية منذ مدّة بتجميد أرصدة للعقيد الليبي معمر القذافي وعدد من أفراد عائلته .
