مدينة الغزوات من جواهر الساحل الجزائري

يعود وجود الانسان بالغزوات الى عهد قديم جدا اي قبل الدخول الروماني الى المدينة حيث اقام مركزا عسكريا تحت اسم اذفراتراس AD FRATRESS فدخل بعد ذلك البربر واحتلوا الجهة الشرقية التي تمثل هضبة توانت TOUENT وبعد ذلك سقطت تحت وطئة الموحدين ثم ظهر الغزو الثنائي على المنطقة بواسطة المرينين وبني عبد الواد قبل سقوطها على يد السلطان يغموراسن وقيل القرن 13 م اصبحت تحت سلطنة ابي سعيد لكنه استرجعها ببني سعيد في منتصف القرن 14 م ثم استولى الاتراك على المنطقة ولقبوها بجمعة الغزوات .

وفي اواخر 1844 م خضعت المنطقة للاحتلال الفرنسي فاتخذت مركزا لتموين جيوشه واخذت اسم نمور NEMOURS نسبة للجنرال الذي كان يحكم المنطقة ثم سميت باسم الغزوات بعد الاستقلال

الموقع .– مدينة الغزوات مدينة ساحلية تقع في شمال غرب البلاد يحدها شمالا البحر الابيض المتوسط جنوبا بلديتي تيانت وندرومة شرقا بلدية دار يغموراسن - البور - وغربا بلدية السواحلية –تونان -

التقسيم الاداري –استفادت مدينة الغزوات كمركز للدائرة في سنة 1974م كانت تبلغ مساحتها 8500 هكتار وحسب التقسيم الاداري لسنة 1984 م تقلصت الى 2800 هكتار حسب التقسيم الاداري لسنة 1987 م .

الموقع داخل الاطار الاقليمي – تقع مدينة الغزوات على بعد 75 كلم في شمال غرب مدينة تلمسان و 48 كلم عن مدينة مغنية و14 كلم عن مدينة ندرومة و45 كلم عن الحدود المغريبية .

الدراسة الطبوغرافية

ان طبيعة المنطقة عبارة عن تضاريس لا نستطيع فصله عن السلسلة الجبلية لجبال ترارة حيث ان هذه المنطقة محاطة من جهة بواد السفطر ومن جهة اخرى بجبال القمقوم والسرو ارتفاعها تتراوح مابين 500 م و 600 م

ان حركة الانجراف بها جد قوية لانها ذات انحدارات كبيرة ويفسر هذا بوجود الوحدات الطبوغرافية الصغيرة والمتفرقة عن بعضها البعض . فالمناطق ذات الانحدارات اكبر من 25 بالمئة فهي غير صالحة للبناء والتعمير وهذه النسبة من الانحدار تمثل اكبر من 50 بالمئة من المساحة الاجمالية للمنطقة .
